I am not sure about the design of some of the new pets, they seem so stylistically different from what is in pack one and two. All the new mechanics seem awesome though! Nothing is final though…

I’d bet that if you got a complete stranger to try to seperate the pets into two groups of distinct art styles they would have much more than a 60% accuracy. The style is super similar. I think everyone just isn’t used to the new pets

@Oye Hoye combining units doesnt carry the buff between them i believe it only adds +1 +1

The point of baby duck hitting the right-most shop pet is so you can sell it after leveling something up. That way you're giving the baby duck buff to an animal from the next tier. Edit: pretty good for turn 3/5 but falls off after that

Those 2 are actually the best thing about this deck for me!

The fact the SAP is creating new pets adds a new twist after months of the old packs! Good to see the SAP developers aren’t sleeping

30:14 Just to be clear for the mantis this is start of turn, not start of battle so you have an one turn delay Bison that has to be at the front that always kills the pet behind it. It has really cool combos like if you buy a faint pet each turn (like the mammoth) and place it at the second spot.

The pet designs are fine. Good actually. It's the eyes that need fixing. Look at all the black dot eyes on the standard pets, that should be consistent with these new ones.

I feel like certain pets are going to need to be reworked a bit, some sound super strong like the lioness. But I'm definitely excited to build actual decks of animals to play against other people with. Sounds very fun!

two words.... Swordfish Tiger Keep a snake in front of the swordfish too and behind something tanky, that way when the swordfish kills itself the tiger moves up and triggers the snake too

Kiwi fruit should also be added to the game. It should be a tier one food. Even though it wouldn't do anything to other pets, it should be useful for kiwi bird and a binturong. If a kiwi (bird) eats it, it should gain 2 health and 2 attack. But if a binturong eats it, it should gain 2000000686_656868)6)66788548880954 attack and health.

Jackal should also be a new pet idea. It should do this: Buy, turn random pet into a random pet. A new food should be added it should be brain 🧠. If a pet eats it, it should get a melon and coconut armour at the same time

Pre-gameplay thought: level 3 pug seems crazy with a level 2 fish if it's a temporary level up at the start of battle because then the fish would give everyone a permanent +2/+2 at the start of battle.

In gameplay stuff is never permanent. Only stuff in the shop is ever permanent.

Nice to see a new pack is coming and above all the custom packs seem awesome. I really like playing SAP, but I have gotten tired of earlier game when you can only buy tier one unit, there's so little variety that it have got really boring for me, but as soon as the tier 2 unlock it's fun again. Custom packs and all the new animals seem like something that could make the earlier round more fun for me, when I get tired of a sets of animals, I just make a new sets.

it's because pets like duck and pig have no use in early game (or just straight useless). They should buff them/ rework.

Glad there was the progress for AtoZ challenge included at the end of this video, lol!

The seahorse seems OP - it's more or less a shuffler. Considering how much in SAP depends on team order, Seahorse introduces chaos

F2p pack is probably the most balance and least chaotic

Definitely. The first expansion is kinda frustrating to me. Feels like half the units are too weak to do anything because some are just too strong. In F2P there's nothing super broken other than penguin and ox. Everything else is fine, even otter.

Mushroom on an eagle behind a white tiger sounds like a dream. Or popcorn on an orca!

Blob fish+mushroom+pill could be interesting A level 3 blob fish with a pill could bring a T2 unit to 3, which is a great push, granted that is 22 coins, a T 4 unit X 6 a pill and forced to select 2 foods, but it could make leveling some until very fast, but its also a +3 experience for 4 gold then, or saves you 5g(7 if you do 1 to 3), sounds great for leveling builds The pet that does 2X2 damage to itself sounds good with Garlic, good with the per that gives +1/1 per damage behind it , only needing a pear or a lvl 2 penguin to fix The suicidal dolphin +raptor and strawberry kills anything not under pepper and survives

Baby duck is good I think for when you combine a pet. It’ll buff up an early tier 4 or something

I think the cucumber with the yak and a koala would be useful, every round the yak and the koala would gain HP and you could put a croissant on the koala to get stronger faster

you can make artificial buses with the Seagal per say whale + eagle and then have the Seagal have chili could work or you know those builds that make 24-24 pets could give them melon with it seems kinda op to me easily counterable though with microbe

anything that says "Start of battle" is temp, so the pug only gives them the exp untill the battle is over then they lose it, so it will work with like a mosquito that uses its ability in combat, but a penguin would revert to level 1 after battle and not have any bonus

35:15 have you seen the video of the tapir with a tapir in the back? (Plus a turkey.) Infinite tapir summon!

A new pet should be added into a game. BINTURONG!!! It should be the first and only tier nine animal. It's special ability should be: do anything - give pets 50 health and damage (level 1) Do anything - give pets 100 health and attack (level 2) Do anything - give pets 200 health and attack (level 3). New food should be added too. Tuliza. It should be a tier nine food. It should give other pets 300 health and attack and 1000000 health and attack to the binturong.

i think the baby duck is meant to buff the next tier pet you get from leveling, can make for some decent strong early picks.

Will you do the A-Z challenge for this one or you going to continue on what your going to finish because of the update?

- Bacon fixes rabbit imbalance. That's a great one to add. Wasp + rabbit will be great together. - Koala uses enemy snipe teams to buff. - The stork is nearly good - so many pets require low-level pet purchases, it'd be great to have something late game that increases the chance of low-tier animals appearing in shop. - I wonder if the rat counts as a summoned enemy for the Aardvark? - Dromedary and goldfish - bulk up a couple of pets in the shop and get them for free... - Seagull with a steak at the back of a summon team - lethal! - The praying mantis sounds...... terrible but could be some interesting self-destruction teams (hedgehogs, badgers etc) - I can't wait to see the tapir loop lol - Lemon sounds great but is surely too late to be useful... - The alpaca could be useful for finally getting some late-game pets to L3. So you can have an alpaca in your team, find something you like (depending on time, save a copy in the shop, freeze and buff it), then when you buy it it jumps straight to the L3 ability. So no need to spend 18 gold over however many turns to get a L3. You only need to level up one pet, then everything follows. But it's so late in the game it might not be useful - at that point the white tiger would do a better job. Looking forward to seeing you get all of the new ones to Level 3 :D Hope you don't get sick of SAP before then

I agree that some of the buff descriptions are confusing. Maybe they could do something like an underline to say that its a temporary buff?

Pretty sure the stork is supposed to summon a tier 1 when you have tier 2 unlocked, tier 2 when tier 3 is unlocked etc, so once you have tier 6 it's the same as an eagle that you were just able to level way earlier

Baby Duck is useful for that early tier 3 unit you get from levelling up on turn 3 (or later I guess). Still not that great though I don't think.

The art is much different from the original, and most of these abilities are super gimmicky

In the first expansion pack I was sad that the owl, one of my favorite animals irl, was relegated to being a buy/sell. They made it up to me by adding a raccoon and making it awesome.

Velociraptor and sword fish could be a cool combo but you got to have the Velociraptor with more attack so it gives it coconut or it will kill itself

Walrus will be a fun pill target. Replacing melon on a 50/50 unit with peanut would be great, you could kill two things with melon then. No scorpion in this pack so there's no one shot worry about it with a scorpion at the front.

@@theaegislash8249 Yeah you're right about melon not being in there, although scaling is still not that difficult. Starfish is great (better than even an early monkey for scaling), strawberry/pelican build, the carrott food and praying mantis are all good options. It's just less straightforward than monkey/penguin type scaling.

I think it'll just bottom out at zero, which would still be funny, or maybe just 1 but I think it also means that the fried shrimp will also work like a pill in some situations.
