    Yes I totally agree! I think that's what got me interested in abandoned places to begin with was just imagining what a place used to be like and then seeing it grown over.

    Thank you Harmon , I was in Japan in 1967-70 as a kid my family loved living there but my fathers job changed & he we to work in California which we were not as fond of. We went from a nice country side home out side of Tokyo to a home north of Sacramento also countryside but not as beautiful green gardens as Japan more like dry horse ranch countryside yeah… still have many beautiful memories with our family in Japan.

    Hey H There was a Movie I watched one day . I was home from school sick . 1973 maybe . There was a Movie about a Volcano Eruption maybe early to mid 50s . I remember a scene where a guy wedged his body between a pillar of a a Wooden bridge to allow the people to safety . It was Amazing Drama . Really gave the feel of being in that . Still have not found that movie . Keep Searching .

    It was so infuriating that I couldn't upload. Felt like my hands were tied as every time I tried to upload, the video file would fail or only save 15% of it and then freeze. Thankfully I had my 3rd hard drive tucked away. Came in clutch. Thanks denise!! 💕

    Thanks for this upload, Harmin. This reminds me of the eruption of Mt St. Helen's volcano in your home state of WA back in May of 1980, have you been around there to see what damage remains? maybe there's abandoned sites around there as well? ever consider filming in and around that area??

    Volcanoes make me nervous even though I live in Minnesota. The one that makes me a little on edge is the super volcano underneath Yellowstone. We’re all toast when that blows. Interesting video.

    It looks like it was a gorgeous, pretty little school back before the volcano. Just think, a good many of the children that went to school there were very happy there and then it got taken away from them overnight. So sad. Too bad they couldn't have rebuilt it.

    volcano, tsunami waves, and earthquakes are the major ouch for us humans(in movies,tv shows, and news), but the real scary stuff is when it's real, think POMPEII, THANK YOU,......marius(punk rules).
