I got to drive an 83' Countach a few weeks ago. I lucked up at a car festival and asked the owner if he could take me around the block. It turned out to be so much more. I drove my dream car. Here's the big part: I'm relatively poor. He did not care and was the coolest person ever! I can vouch for averything Shmee said about his experience. I met my hero and was not disappointed.

I was expecting it to be the “Jeeperghini” 😂 I can’t believe you’ve never driven a Countach! 😱

For your road trip I would keep a tire plug kit with you. The plug would get you back on the road until you can get a new tire.

James is such a amazing guy, you can tell it in your video's so much he is less hyped then in his own videos, and here he is calmer and just laid laid laiiiiid back as one can be! amazing to see you all together, you can tell Sofia really is his Angel. I hope you enjoy your time with James, You both are doing amazing work EDIT: Jame's jacket... i saw it in his video! I respect the man even more now.. tape that stuff up eventhough he should do it vertically instead of horizontally, one small patch no one will know

Agree.. I really like "normal" James, he's to hysterical in his own videos. It's a little too much, I actually have to watch him alone as my wife just refuse to listen to him 😂

The Triple White Countach was what I had in a framed poster on my wall as a kid, except it was a Countach S without the Side Skirts but still with the arches!

The socks were the best part. Had me dying laughing.

That tire could take a temporary plug (the puncture is not on the edge) actually the tire could survive with a patch job. (Since the tire are fairly new)

You don't really want to do that with a high performance car. It can go wrong really fast if you track it or go fast

@@MortenBulskov that’s true, especially if you’re driving in anger as he calls it.. just a potential failure and possibly a disaster if at high speeds. I would definitely recommend changing it out.

Who knew you could make a 30 minute video about a leaky tire.

I know a lot of the car companies with newer cars don't have spare tires on them but when my dad had his 2015 Challenger ScatPack and he got a flat it had paste in it so that way he could inflate the tire for atleast 200 miles until he could get a new tire. Does the Dark Horse not have one in it?

First tine I saw once was a white one on the road. Pulled up my small S-10 pickup behind it. The spoiler was at the level of my mini-truck's hood so I thought it must be a kit car. It was low and tiny, But the Lamborghini badge was very authentic looking. That was about 1989.

I drive these roads all the time wish I could have seen them driving the other day. Tim has driven more cars than probably almost anyone it's amazing the first countach was not until now.

Tim. You must get yourself a can of Tirefix. Next time you get a puncture you can spray it into the tire/tyre and it will hold the pressure easily till you get it replaced. It saved my behind a few times. Any spare part shop will have it

The Sterratto will be cool as heck. I know off-road/mix surface "rally style" V10 Lambo is kinda ridiculous but man, just seems best of all worlds lol

Just a thought u know if your tire is going flat like yours you can do 2 things A. When u stop and park it make sure the weight of the is on the puncture so puncture against the pavement when your moving it doesn't have time to escape with the ration of wheel going so fast B. People plugged tires for years I agree its a little far over to be safe to patch but you could of plugged it stoped the leak, your getting new tire anyways, in my vette I carry a plug kit walmart like 12 bucks for whole kit because I don't run the run flat tires

I've been subscribed to Shmee for over 10 years already and I'm surprised to learn that he hasn't driven a Countach yet until now.

Love the iconic Countach! When I arrived in the U.S back in '84 as a young boy, I fell in love with the iconic 308/328 GTB Ferrari featured in Magnum PI tv series. Then in the same year the Countach stole my heart in the popular Canonnball Run 2 and I didn't even know there was a LP400 Countach in the Canonnball Run 1. Now I own my rare 50th Anniversario LP720 in Giallo Maggio.

I love the 918's plate, that German hint gave me a little laugh.
