Man these are such clever and good designs. I'd probably pick Snivy out of them.

Snivy's my favorite starter line and pink is my favorite color, so it should be no surprise I love this Serperior, haha. I do also love the manic energy of this Cinderace and the rugged look of this Empoleon!

Ooooh they're all great but I gotta go for that Serperior!

If Empoleon is one of the starters in the game and looks like this then I’d for sure be picking it!

These three starters might be the fandom's front runners, but these are particularly unique takes on them. Really nice work dude. Snivy is the only one of these starters I've used, and you know i think I gotta pick it again, cos that Serperior is so cool.

As always, great concept and design. And the fact that all starters have x4 weakness against a singlr type is a great challenge. Looking forward to more. And Im still waiting on Legends Taorum 😁

A Water Rock type combination still results in a 4x weakness to Grass. It's just not the only weakness that Water Rock type Pokémon have.

Man if I had a nickel for every time someone chooses Scorbunny ,Snivy and Piplup as the starter trio for A-Z I have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that I found two KZreadrs who went with the exact same trio😅.

Hmm, again there seems to be a bias with the fire starter, the obvious type choice for Empoleon shouldve been Water Ground, Ground being x4 to Cinderace, Poison already being x4 to Serperior, and Grass still being x4 to Empoleon. Similarly your Reoma Starters, the Fire mon has superior typing on the matchup. Take it as constructive criticism as considering typing, stats and balancing, creates for a better, more creative and cohesive set of starters. (And pokemon designs in that matter).

I appreciate what you’re trying to say, but i think you (and so many other Pokémon fans) completely overemphasise the importance of typing when it comes to pokemon. Starters almost never actually form a perfect type triangle and, in general, Pokémon are more than their typing!! When i design a pokemon, I don’t think ‘I am going to design a water-rock type now.’ I come up with a design, inspirations, shapes, colours and personality and I think ‘What type best fits that concept?’ That honestly seems to be the way Game Freak does it too and, even if they don’t, I’m an art channel!! Concept and design will always come first and that isn’t something I’ll compromise.
