These Were Creepy Abandoned Places

These were creepy and abandoned places. In 2022, JoyMaria White and her daughter arrived at a dentist appointment and discovered no one was there. In February, a California woman shared video of her hometown mall, which is now a ghost town. Also in February, a couple splurged on a five-star resort for their baby moon but discovered something strange about the place. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.

So many empty buildings that could have been bought up and re-used to be turned into schools, homeless shelters, churches, or places of work. Heck, a new movie theather or café would be nice. These abandoned buildings shouldn't go to waste.

I know tons of ppl who specifically schedule their vacations during slow seasons just to get a cheaper hotel, tickets, etc. So even if it was the slowest week/month of the year, there still should’ve been a lot more ppl.

I took photos of a 2 story Brick House from 2013 to 2023.. in 2013 the walls were starting to crumble little by little.. by 2015 the first floor wall came down.. by 2016 the entire wall on the first floor was gone and the second floor was sinking down.. literally wasn't attached to anything.. but people kept going inside.. there was only one staircase left and it was in the middle of the house.. the floors were slowly rotting and disappearing.. the second floor was creeping downward and literally stayed like that until April 2023 when it was finally torn down.. it refused to fall down and the only thing holding up one side was a log.. quite literally a small tree was holding up one half of the house.. gravity held up the other half.. I didn't see it for a year before it was torn down.. so I bet I missed out on some of the damage.

The couple had to have known that very shortly after they arrived that’s the case. The dentist office one, they got scheduled when they shouldn’t have and never got ahold of the woman to reschedule - shoes were a coincidence. So many people hyper-focused on filming things like this, with normal explanations, just for a few seconds of internet fame instead of just going on with their lives.
