When Jen first found a lump in her breast she, at the time, was having insurance issues. However, when she was finally able to get a biopsy, the biopsy came back saying the cancer was stage 4. The oncologist told her, “…the tumor is too large to operate. We would have you do chemo and radiation to try to shrink the tumor, then we would do a double mastectomy, and possibly remove lymph nodes as well. Then we would have you do more rounds of chemo and radiation, and have you take hormone blocking drugs for the rest of your life.” They also told her that the cancer would more than likely return in a few years. Jen watched her mother die of breast cancer going through the same traditional medicine and the very expensive ongoing treatment, she watched it kill her mother's immune system, and watched her die a slow, painful death. She didn’t want to live that herself. So, she researched into Gerson Therapy. Gerson therapy had been used by some people to treat cancer and other forms of diseases, successfully. And during her Gerson treatment, she was, indeed, recovering. She was feeling better, the tumor was shrinking, she was gaining back her weight, but the treatment had to stop after the donations ceased; which forced her to return back to the states. She voiced that she was happy and comfortable while doing that form of treatment. No one will ever never know if the Gerson therapy was successful or not for her because she had to stop it abruptly. She died not long after in the states in hospice care.

OMG, I feel so bad. Being an empath as well as Jen was, I feel this sharply, deeply & it immensely saddens me. My sincerest condolences to all of her family & friends 🙏🏾 💔 🕊 And, to the haters & contributors of the ceasing of her medical care, I don't believe in revenge bc that comes back on you & your loved ones. I do believe in Karma. I don't have to see it or know it happened, but I always trust it may not be swift either, (I'm ok with that too) I just know that it's just.👌🏾

This has me crying. She seemed like such a sweet girl, and she was suffering so much. You could see the pain and fear in those gentle eyes, and the guy who saw this and concluded she was a scammer is horrible. I suspect he wanted her to die, because there is no way any sane person could see that and truly doubt the authenticity of her illness.

I despise the fact that she went out of her way to prove her situation to the troll/s that were trolling her life! I despise that.........as those that are mentally off pretty much will have you spiral out of control in the name of proving something to them. Wtf are they?!?!? Were they going to help her, did they have the power to heal her?!?!?? I don't think so......the only power that they possessed was to destroy. She should have invested her energies elsewhere, even if it was only 3% of energy. What gets me is him boasting about having been in jail and the fact that he kept the company of thieves and scammers. It never fails, he was better off keeping that bit of information to himself. To a balanced mind, that sheds more light on him, than his claim about her intentions. Needing to prove to an idiot/s that you're not idiotic, isn't a goal. People that are sound, have *good vision and reason (even if it is 1 person) supercedes what a slew of random "critics" and charlatans are capable of.

This video really hit home. I'm a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed at stage 3 tumor in my nasal cavity that was trying to infiltrate the orbital bone and behind my nose. I beat it but I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I had 40 rounds of radiation and 6 rounds of 2 types of chemotherapy. I was 40 yo when diagnosed. I lost 80 lbs in 3 months from the chemotherapy. Lamont is 100% correct when he said chemotherapy is a double edged sword. I'm one of the lucky ones and only member of my family to ever survive cancer. This young woman didn't have to prove anything to anyone! God rest her soul.

Everyone is always talking about how can a human do this negative and that negative. Ask yourself what does that word even mean. As once upon a time I believe I heard that blacks weren't considered human. As though it were some title to achieve and aim for. The reality is, who are you as a person?! Who exactly is the next person?! Being able to discern and know that is what really matters. As anyone can claim and pretend to be anything/anyone. She was better off investing her energy otherwise. Coming face to face with anyone doing and saying the worst, isn't something that should be taken lightly. It doesn't matter who they are in their professional or personal life. A high percentage of the time, those that are capable of being so frivolous and irresponsible with their initiative tend to lack humility. So the most that they will do when they find themselves in error is ignore their wrong doing or move on to continue their erroneous ways elsewhere.

Both my parents, my brother, my 18 month old nephew, and I were all diagnosed with cancer within a 2 1/2 year period. Believe me, the anxiety alone that Jen must have been experiencing must have been horrific enough without that awful guy trash talking her and influenced others to stop donating to her fund so she could continue alternative treatment. When he didn’t undo his damage by publicly stating that he had been proven wrong and make a public apology to Jen, he really proved what a low life he really was. I believe he shall be judged accordingly in the end.

Very well said. Thank you so much for sharing her heartbreaking story. I feel as though the people who disparaged her for going to a 'quack doctor' don't comprehend just how terrifying your own mortality is. This was no small ordeal. I've lost friends and family to cancer; it's never a pretty sight. When conventional treatments aren't viable, when the spread has progressed to the 'point of no return', people get desperate. They'll do anything to feel like they have a chance of more time. Nobody wants to die from a vicious disease, let alone in the prime of their life. To say that it's sad is an understatement. Those who lashed out at Jen for persuing alternative treatment lack empathy and common human decency. As you said, even if the doctors down in Mexico couldn't save her life, at least they could've made her feel comfortable. At least she would've had hope. And yet, in the last months of her life, these parasitic KZreadrs sought to snuff that hope out, all for selfish gain and KZread clout. RIP Jennifer-you were a beautiful, compassionate person, and I hope your enduring legacy can shine a light on the plight of cancer suffers everywhere.

I'm sorry but I'd like to debate your point on the lack of empathy from someone who is very much against Gerson Therapy. Especially because I watched Jen's decline. I understand that people get despreate and want to find a solution to keep living at all cost, and people will develop this naive and vulneranle state of mind where they cling onto any piece of hope that is handed to them, but Gerson therapy is just the very worst of the worst. There are thousands of cases that went to Gerson and were turned away because they have, according to them, showed up too late, they never call their patients back to get checked up on their cancer again, so a bunch of them die alone because they think the cancer has gone, but really killed them all 5 years down the road. They also have several books that all start with a sentence making it clear that they are not based in scientific research and they sell fruit juicers for 200$, and tell people if their cancer gets worse, it's because they did not get the right juicer, but should get a gerson juicer instead that will cut up the fruits in that way that will fight the cancer, otherwise their treatment is pointless, and whoever did do everything right according to Gerson, is still blamed for their own death, because they probably were not following the diet properly. Gerson himself might have had some understanding of medicine, but he was working in a time before people even knew what a DNA is. The institute is owned by his grandchildren by now, that are operating without having set a foot in any education on medicine. They absolutely know they're a scam, so so many people that could have been saved, have died because of this institute, and I just wish it would run out of money and stop making money from people that are holding onto hope that could been saved! It just breaks my heart when I hear the people whose family members were used in this way and later had to learn that, had they just gone through regular cancer treatments, their chances would have been good, but instead they can speculate about what could have been instead. No Jen did not deserve this, she seemed like a beautiful person and I'm heartbroken for her too. It just hurts to see so many people walk down this road when they are just full with good intentions and a good spirit. But even her story is used to say "she seemed to improve towards the end, but she was too far gone", and they do this with everyone, every person that died there is just used to lure more people in, to sell fruit juicers to! Jen had not been just posting that last video, but she was posting over months that she was improving when she clearly wasn't. She made a video when she lost her nipple and said that she was improving though. I don't know if you just saw this video or if you were there and watched her delude herself this way until she hit the end of the road. I don't think all natural things are evil, or that diet can't help with your treatment, but I could not for the life of me, support a scam that is directly leading a woman to her death. This is not lack of empathy, I just can't bring myself to do that.

Don't donate to her because I , not a doctor, I not a scientist, I with no background in cancer or the treatment of cancer doesn't like the treatment she's seeking. These people should be charged with contributing to her pain and suffering as well as her death. RIP, I hope the pain is gone and you've found comfort.

Wow. I used to engage with KZread vegan content starting in 2016. I pulled away because the community was so deeply toxic with all their virtual signaling while actually being horrible human beings. I always despised Durianrider. Never knew about this incident. Makes me proud that I followed my instincts and disengaged from this pit of vipers.

I stay away from those people. I don't even like the label vegan because meat eaters look at you weird and vegans tend to either prove to you that you are not 100% vegan or they are down right unfriendly. NOT EVERYONE! Don't get me wrong. But i've learned to just do my thing, try to be a good human being and stay away from such groups.

Such an amazing, strong and beautiful soul this young woman had. Lamont, thank you so much for sharing her story. That jackass who told his "followers" to not support her and that she was a scammer, is the biggest loser of them all! He even said he was in jail before he knows scammers and bad people, yet so many people believed and listened to him. These people made Jennifer's last months on this earth, a living hell. I truly hope they watch this video and realize that the biggest scammer of them all is the loser they support. Lamont, you are a true and honest sweetheart. Thank you for everything you do. As someone who’s been dealing and fighting a very aggressive type of breast cancer, Stage 2 triple negative breast cancer this past year this has made me very very grateful my health insurance has helped me to be now in remission. I was diagnosed Nov 5, 2020 and still in the process of breast reconstruction. I made it through 14 rounds of some of the nastiest hardest chemo out there causing me to lose my pretty hair, lashes and brows. I can understand how many stop chemo. It’s awful. One of the 3 types of chemo I’ve done was nicknamed the red devil and it is the dang devil!! This story has broke my heart.

I’m stage 2b triple negative. Doing 4 doses of red devil then 4 doses of paclitaxel along with pembro immunotherapy. Will have my 3rd and 4th red devil this month then start paclitaxel September- November. I’ve handled red devil fairly well makes me very tired. Been lucky not to get mouth sores so far. The change in taste is so frustrating though.

Lamont, first off...this video should get an award! My heart bleeds for what this young, BEAUTIFUL woman went through all over money. In this Country, the U.S. , we take people from other countries for medical care that can not receive it in their home country. In most cases, they pay nothing! Cancel patients, Siamese patients etc. This poor girl was hoping for life saving treatment in another country and due to lack of money, she is turned away? NO EXCUSE! The treatment in Mexico seemed to be helping but we will never know. Not only because of what this Aussie posted but because the Doctor in Mexico saw dollars over death! Many prayers to the wonderful soul of this young lady!

I am very sorry for your loss ❤. I get angry when I hear stories like yours because of the "myth" (for lack of a better word) that lung cancer is a "smoker's disease". While smoking can obviously be the cause sometimes, usually in those who smoke very excessively, in MOST cases, like your mom's, there is no obvious cause. It is frustrating because so many people miss signs of lung cancer because they don't smoke and have been led to believe they are safe from it. 😔 Once again, my deepest sympathies for your loss. God bless you and your family ❤

You know what? Although you do question his mentality and what he’s doing now is not healthy, I see why Nikocado Avocado got away from the vegan community. Because before he really blew up on KZread, I remember one of his earliest videos he mentioned how vegans and people of peta seem to be all do gooders and such, but they’re mostly bullies. And to see this about this poor girl just proves not only was he telling the truth, but it is beyond fucked up on how these people went out of their way to make someone’s life and health a living hell. What did any of what she was going through had to do with them?! If they didn’t want to support her or donate, then they should have left her the hell alone! Now her life is over, they think taking down those videos they bullied her in and saying ‘sorry’ is going to make it all okay and give Jen her life back?! They need to be held accountable! I don’t give a damn how much time has gone by. Justice has no time. No way they should still have a platform after the disgusting way they behaved and treated someone who was just trying to live!

That was so hard to watch. She was so young. And you're right. Chemo is a "damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario"....it just saddens me she was so young. My father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at 69. He lasted a year on chemo, which chemo killed his immune system and him..not the cancer. Such a sad story. But thank you for making this video, this just goes to show you cancer does not discriminate. So young, so sad.

Hey Lamont! I am an eighteen year survivor of BC. I had high dose/dense dose chemo from Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. (They no longer do that) Then I had a double mastectomy, all my lymph nodes out of my right side underarm, followed by 5 weeks of radiation and 17 years of taking Arimidex (a hormone surpressing drug). I also had my overies out, my choice because they wouldn't shut down. I was stage 3C at the time. With so many advances, I would now be considered stage 3A. I chose not to have reconstruction because I personally believe it might have hindered finding another lump should one grow (never did). First, chemo was very hard on my body but it saved my life. My cousin, same age as me, chose to go the organic healing way and died in 3 months:( Sadly, I have lost too many friends and this poor girl to BC. My two cents, you have to fight and be aggresive! It's a battle for your life and, like it or not, we have to go with what we have at this time to fight with the cancer! And, Lamont, boobs, ovaries, and a uterus do not make me a woman! I am beautiful and heads still turn when I walk into a restraunt! lol Love to you! Leslie in Florida
