@@jahski4555 when you start getting toward the middle give the stick small taps to counteract the momentum. For example, if you're going to the left to get up, once you get in the green give it a few taps to the right so you dont fall back down when getting up. Takes some practice but you'll get it

Big tip - Try to go to the body as much as possible 1-2 combos and try to trow in a power punch to the head once you get better everything will fall in place ... another thing is to make your opponent throw alot of misses make him fight air for a whole round if possible he'll be to land a big punch

He might have quit partially because he was losing and partially because a defensive style is frustrating to play against. I don’t play online, but it’s annoying when the CPU blocks everything.

Tested this strategy last night won every round minus 2 and ended with a k.o. Win in the 10th after two knockdown in the 9th and 10th 🏆👌🏾.

As someone who feels like they’re very good at the game having not watched any tips and tricks type of videos, one thing I immediately notice I need to start doing is the forward dash/step in shots that you throw. I understand the spacing but I’ve never tried taking advantage of it like this. Getting precise with that would be a huge game changer

Dude, this game is so much better than undisputed... they should make an official "legacy" edition release for the PC at least. This game is the best boxing game ever made.

As someone who just started, I lost most my fights at the start but once I played a bit more, started focusing more on landing power hits rather than trying to hit as much as possible just to rush to a knockout, which will make it even harder to get one, as far as I know because the people I fought would typically throw less punches than me yet would get the ko, so I figured if I slowed down and tried to actually land them correctly Id get it

Keeping FNC Relevant after all these years nice work FNF u da bomb brother 💪also I will say one thing. I like to be a body puncher and wear out people who throw so many punches. In owc, it does take a lot of punches to wear some fighters out. You can throw lots of punches but did you land them? Did you take time for stamina and recouping? You can still throw lots of punches if you take more time doing so. Most times not all, but fighters with highest connect rate wins.

@@JOK3RC4RDx there's ways around body punches such as effective blocking, leaning into the body punches while guard is up and crouched, side step uppercut

Played ps3 since game came out! No one is on there anymore, only about 100/120. I went to a xbox and over 2,000 every night!

All they need to do is revamp this game and throw in every single boxer they can think of on the roster.

Back when this game was out i was top 100. I was a huge panzy when i played lol. I mastered the art of jabbing and defense. I always ended each round with the lead in points. I always ended each fight with 90% stamina. My opponent was always exhausted.

Man this is so true, I've been playing this game since it came out but just started online. Every time I face Nichols, no matter who I choose they just stick their head on my chest and throw combos. I try to rally back to the head and I land nothing. Any suggestions? Great video

Their is a feature that allows you to push your opponent. Use that as Nichols attempts to hold you to take your energy.

First tip is to accumulate more online time so u can see everything u have to get used too💯 then u try to see wat u can learn to hold yaself down. Practice blocking and bein patient, pick your shots

They should add leg stance variations and this game would be perfect

Only really needs an update to the roster IMO. The roster is very limited. Now that it's 12 years later, it would be awesome if they were able to throw in a bunch of more modern fighters (Mayweather, Canelo, Benavidez, Plant, Fury, Joshua, Usyk, Wilder, the host of popular lightweights right now, etc). Even throw in a couple female divisions too, as well as a few non-boxers into the game store, such as MMA fighters and TikTokers, and you'd have a much more complete game.

Most runners cant fight ill stand in tth corner and still out box them n even losing rounds they wont engage they need ppl chasing n the step bk counter 😂😂 n they think they got skills 😂 my inbox is full of runners who get 1 win off me lol with big egos while i tell them what i exposed in them then when they cant get another win off of me they get very quiet in the messages 😂 i literally address their lack of skills point fight them, they either prove me right cuz they can't fight or they still dont engage then lose by dec proving another point that runners need ppl chasing them😂 They also seem to not understand why i message them😂 i literally tell them i message runners who taunt and have a fragile inflated ego just to chop them down n watch them get quiet. Normally i just spam the straight to the body when i corner them with an uppercut to body as a counter if they react. Most runners tend to fail n fall around round 7 or 8 then spam the jab to the body cuz by then they are tired af more so if they spam the step bk n hit nothing😂 but prob throwing uppercuts to the head now lol most are done by 10th round n some slip by n survive but 1 win to learn n expose these tools to get endless wins after is fun as hell

I’m pretty certain that it has to do with Importaning boxers in the beginning. But the whole importing thing Is a bit confusing. Any tips or links to vids would be greatly appreciated

yeah I do that's exact thing online to almost everybody where I keep stepping back making a mess and then I take my chances and come forward whenever I feel like it throw a bunch of faints make a mess make a miss for like six rounds straight and then attack on them Go in on their body in the 7th round and then in the eighth round I get back to doing what I was doing best making a miss and then almost when the eighth round is done I'll start really fighting them like crazy getting them like oh okay getting them hyped up thinking like we're about to go blow for blow and then in the 9th round I'll hit them back with the try to catch me try to catch me let them waste a little bit more energy and then just be very strategic from there and finish them off one punch knockouts it's easy to get one punch flash knockouts on here as long as you're looking way better than your opponent

What I don’t understand about this game: I will be beating a guy every round 10-9 and landing more counters but I cant get knockdowns. It’s basically just a matter of time till I get knocked down a few times and lose, even though I literally besting the guy down. I seriously don’t get it. Does low stamina make you more vulnerable to knock downs?

You can win the battle, but lose the war if you try too much to win rounds without caring about your stamina, and it's probably what you did. Listen to Teddy Atlas

I suck at the game now but back then I was nice. Now I played recently and IDK if Trippin but the knockouts be weird, I could beat the hell out of a fighter and they will knock me out lol.

This was a good technical match , I like this matchup cuz neither of u are overpowered (Holyfield has the slight advantage) .. side note lol idk why Ali users are lowkey kinda scary 😂

Without spamming back a single punch as well I doubt it,even in lx dark sniper videos against spammers he is spamming either the uppercut or straight to beat them it's damn near impossible to beat them using technique real skill while moving most time u have to stand there in a stable position just to not get caught

Although you guys are good countering and one hand spams is shots are not the answer which hurts the sweet science we need a game that allows real control with the feet and punch placement not just one or the other,and they need to remove the pillow hand punching from the game you can deck someone all night point them up let a spammer spam you that has good movement you will lose the game just falls short nice video tho fightnightfinest

Ufc stand and bang has its problems but it exposed fight night imo the fact some of these dudes will crowd you and throw 20 punches to the body and you throw uppercuts to somebody leaning down and get no reaction after multiple times this game is a joke not to mention one block button blocks both head and body so you can’t out smart your opponent on what he needs to defend you have to out smart the games blocking mechanics the more you know about fighting the more flawed this game becomes even tho high fight iq like the guy in this video will still obviously help you it’s a joke overall but most boxing fans will be in denial tho
