To answer your question if the choking is something that they agreed doing.. Freen, Bec, and the director said that all their love scenes are NOT scripted. Basically, the director just says action and Freen and Becky do their thing. Freen and Bec said that they just acted based on their "feelings" 😂

The apologizing scene, Freen had to improvised because of script miscommunication, so cute and very sincere. I also love Freen's eye expression! Very expressive and portrait each scene very well! Mon's crying breaks my heart too. So happy to rewatch Gap with u again.

Is there an interview where they talk about that?

FreenBecky chemistry is off the charts, their intimate scenes feel so authentic, the way they look at each other, their touches and how they react to each others touches. They really let themselves emotionally feel what their characters should feel and feed off each others energy. It's beautiful to see. I always feel shy watching their love scenes, just because as you rightly said, it feels like you are intruding on an intimate scene

Great reaction - awesome how you picked up a couple of lines that were coming. One thing a lot of Westerners forget is that Sam is minor royalty... some of the things that happen in this episode would have NEVER happened to her before - being (wo)manhandled and thrown into the pool by a commoner, no less, Mon actually ordering her to stop in the pool, Mon being the active partner in the intimate scene... etc Also - Miss Nita, Heidi, was awesome. She ate her scenes up.

Also - a little BTS tidbit: the scene on the beach, apparently, Freen and Becky had had a bit of a falling out, and that was the scene was the first time they'd talked in three days. It was a catalyst for them making up.

✨ *the Eye acting* ✨ the bracelet scene was actually more symbolic to sam's character cuz when they first bump into each other at ep1 mon's hair caught in her expensive bracelet, not caring abt mon's hair but rather more worried abt her expensive bracelet, now here she brought a cheap one that mon liked and wears it with her 💜

Little bit of advice, I would stop watching the previews for the next episodes from here on out. They contain major spoilers that lowkey ruin the experience.

The problem with Kirk is that he likes Sam. He knew it was just business, but as they were friends and Sam was so passive and accepting of this arrangement, he probably thought that because he is such a good guy, that she would fall for him eventually. You see that he gets very excited when he thinks Sam was jealous of him.

I am also very interested to know who decided to add in the choking because it was an EXCELLENT decision 😂 Their love scenes are always so fun! Perfect balance of sexy and cute. But they're also imperfect in a way that feels natural and realistic. Are we gonna talk about how we’re on ep9 and these mfs have yet to do the deed in a bed? Love that for them! Freen was actually the one who came up with that apology (that’s why it’s so well done lol). Initially Freen was also against Sam calling Mon Wanthong because she felt like it was too harsh for how much Sam had developed as a character. She thought if she loved Mon, she’d never call her that but the director kept it. I think Yha sees her and Mon’s situations as the same because Sam is engaged to Kirk, so Mon is technically messing with a taken person too. But I don’t like the way she says it either. Just because you like women doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong or you’re bound to cheat. ANYWAY another great reaction! Can't wait for ep10😇

I didn’t think of it the first time I saw your reaction but now I realize it’s not weird for her to compare being with Chin to Mon being with Sam because she knows Sam, as far as the office knows, is engaged to Kirk, so technically it is the same situation.

Yes, Kirk knows that's only business coz he's the closest to her like, he's her friend since then.. But he loves her and he would do anything to help her with the company. Sadly that help that he offered ain't helping at all. Fun fact, the reconciliation scene has a kiss between Sam and Mon but it was edited out. It would have been sweeter.

Ok finished, this was probably my favorite reaction so far. I appreciated the thoughtful observations in regards to Kirk, Yha and the sentance "even though I knew it was wrong" and omg yes...Sam's character development is on point! I was also laughing my ass off at the surprised moments and lack of blanket 😂. Yes Thailand is very open, but still has deep routed traditions underneath...though leagalizing gay marrige is goinf through the system now. aww thank you so much for watching! i’m so glad you enjoyed it. this show truly is groundbreaking and I love that. it’s really the first 100% wlw centered show that I’ve ever seen, and it’s done SO WELL. it’s such a breath of fresh air to be able to see myself represented on tv in such a *normal* romcom type of way. makes me wanna cry 🤧 I love it so much. Hi. Thanks again for your reaction. Just some thoughts to consider. Sam absolutely overreacted in episode 8 no question, but to be fair, Mon kept Kirk's secrets for him even after she and Sam became girlfriends. She then lied straight to Sam's face and called her out about trusting her when she was the untrustworthy one. Sam took full ownership of what went down and never once cast blame on Mon. To me that says alot about her character. Sam has actually come a long way in my opinion. She may have her moments, but she is actively working on being better for Mon. As for Kirk; I think he definitely knows Sam does not have romantic feelings for him. In episode 8 when the whole argument went down, you can clearly see he was surprised by Sam's jealousy because he knows she has never shown an interest in him romantically. Unfortunately, he misreads the situation and begins to have hopes that he still has a chance, ergo the flowers in ep 9 and the flirting with Sam. All that to say, I think knowing something and accepting it are 2 different things. I think at this point he is unwilling to accept that Sam does not love him that way. I mean not only has she not show him the slightest bit of interest she didnt even accept his proposal. That alone should have been a glaring sign. I feel slightly bad for Kirk, but at the same time, I feel he is a bit selfish. At least Nope cares enough to support Mon even though it's hard for him knowing he cant be with her. He even told Mon it was okay for 2 women to date to help her come to terms with her feelings for Sam.

Kirk is an idiot and weak, but please reserve judgement as to his character until the last episode. This is not a cliche north american script.

Totally agree, i mean you must stay away from married people and stop yourself from approaching them, and they must not do that because it is cheating, but woman loving woman is nothing like that and can not be compered
