I live in a place that's super hot (reaching the upper 90's) and humid. However, those are not the best conditions combined for tarantulas. In my situation, I'd need something to cool the room down, which is when my aircond comes into place. With it turns on during the afternoon, temperature becomes perfect.. HOWEVER, humidity is not. Airconds are notorious for drying up the place, so the humidity in the room drops way below 50% after the aircond's been running for a couple hours. Not ideal. So what better way to solve that issue than to get a humidifier? Today we'll be unboxing and assembling a 5 liter humidifier, that way the room will be able to maintain a perfect temperature and level of humidity for the tarantulas. Man, when I say these tarantulas have a better life than me - They sure do. I sleep in an air conditioned room as well but never had any humidifier, ever. Gets pretty dry at times! but hey, tarantula lives matter! :D
You may be wondering "Why now? What happened to before?"
Well, before this it wasn't as hot as it is now. This year has been terrible! and I would usually mist down the tarantulas' enclosures every so often. I've lost quite a few spiders due to the heat wave, which is why I've decided to use an aircond. They've been doing fine with the aircond and slightly damp substrate (to increase humidity), but I thought it wouldn't hurt to increase some humidity in the room itself. I mean, for my kind of situation, it's still better than no humidifier, right?

You don't need it turned that high. If you see the mist start to fall back down it's too high and that's what gets moisture on all the surfaces.

Bro love your videos but I don't think that's the right humidifier. Those types are used for croup and other breathing issues. It won't raise the humidity in a room very much and white deposits will coat any surfaces nearby. You need an evaporative humidifier.

i have an air unhumidifier that.. basically decreases humidity. i can sell you for 40$ cause it literally it removes so much humidity. if u want decreased price just ask me. bye
