Random fact I recently learned, if you grapple to a thyla who's tackled you, it automatically makes the thyla let you go, if you can do it while still in the air, the thyla keeps flying to where it was going to land and you will fall where it let you go (have a parachute and you're good to go)

Hey Syntac! In the dino depot mod, bees will passively produce honey in the terminals quicker than the hives. Archaeopteryx will also produce sap, making kibble/veggie cakes easier to make!

@@Nigolasy they normally produce it if they are perched on a redwood tree, but like the hive it takes forever and occasionally they get attacked, its tedious😂

You can use your pyromane as a passive dehydrator. I have one that's in rest always. Pop meat into it and it will cook it and turn it into jerky.

If anyone was curious, you can pick up Pyromanes with wyverns, which is especially useful for taming the Pyromanes that spawn in the wyvern trench on scorched.

I really love the videos man keep up the good work. But i would like it if you could add more pointers and hotkeys and such to help out the beginners (like me).

As someone who plays single player these days the center has been my favorite map so far. It took me 15 irl days to find a decent level anky on the island and almost as long on scorched and the first one I noticed on the center was max level! I absolutely love the center 😂

I dont know if its commonly known but its possible to get shasta saddle from a drop, like any other saddle.

(The rant about ASE/ASA made me think about this) I think in like a year or so, it'd be cool to just go back to the ASE cluster and just look around and try out dinos again (It'd also probably get people to shut up about going back to the cluster lmao)

I don't know if you've ever had to deal with over spawn cave in the center on ase but that part was crazy. So many spawns they were spawning outside the cave and megalania were hanging from air

It would be really cool if the pyromane had an ability that lights up your surroundings while on your shoulder

That lag spike thing happens to me in that same area and just past the ice berg. I also have a high end PC and it feels like I’m using a Gtx 750 when I get there. I leave the area and hit the windows key to bring up your task bar then just click back in the game and it’ll go away. Glad to see it’s not just me. So ridiculous

the ice castle cave is directly under the iceberg, it loads in for some reason when you get close because that whole cliffside opening. with render distance on the lowest setting I can get all the way up to the ob before it starts going, but trying to interact with the ob itself is a living nightmare

@@itslivey dude as soon as I access ob inventory my screen goes pitch black. As soon as I go just past the iceberg I start doing this exact same glitching it’s unplayable until I leave and do the windows key trick. My setup is i9-14900k 4080super with super fast ram and ssd. Pretty ridiculous even the best of machines struggle in this game.

This series is really good! I never get tired of it! It is more enjoyable then the island. And btw, have you heard syntac? That wildcard, will release this summer Unreal engine 5.4 to ark ascended, this is huge for ark! I mean grafics, better frame rates, and ark crashes will be way less. This have been talked about this through twitter.

@syntac I get this exact issue around red ob on scorched earth Issue at @12mins

I always put a box next to my hive and put some ghillie in it. Makes things quite convenient.

That last episode of ASE was realky good.

I haven't played on this map in years, but in ASE I feel like the redwood trees took up more space on the tree platforms than on other maps. If that was the case, and not just me not knowing any better, it's entirely probable that they are still bigger on this map.

About the cluster, I think you make them well, hopefully with ark 2 you’ll be able to make that 200 ep series

So back on ASE, one of the reasons I stopped playing The Center was because there was a weird glitch whenever I killed something it would respawn in the cave at 50, 50. After a while my map was barren, until one day flew over that cave, and my game froze for about 3 minutes. I couldn't even enter the cave because there was so many creatures it automatically crashed the game. I wonder if the barren spots he's finding, combined with the lag he feels in certain areas, is from a similar glitch.

You can put it in the farm to water them

i play on a Cluster server an the easy way is to grab it with the rhyno and Fly to the Islands Next to ist Drop it in the water an wait at the beach for it an start Timing it

The trees in the Center's redwoods are definitely taller than the Island's, was always my favorite redwoods, looks good in ASA although I'm not sure if I like it better than the ASE one

Me and my friend play on a server together and we are so grateful for the pyromane raft method, taming those guys on the island lost us a 145 and tested our friendship XD

Yes the redwood trees on the center are much larger than on the island. Just looking at the size of the thylas compared to the tree and you'll see the difference is huge.

we can make extraordinary kibble with ceratosaurus, not sure ppl still don't know this. it easier to tame than yutyrannus since they can have baby.

I actually didn't know that. I would've thought the Cerato would be the Exceptional, but I'm happy to be wrong on that count. Although I know Yutyrannus can have babies in the wild now. I've encountered one or two, and they're not especially common in my experience. (Edit: Also, Yuty babies would be harder to get, what with all the Carnos and the parent Yuty able to fear roar things.)

Ceratasaur is a great dino to get for kibble. Makes the same egg as the yuty and you can just steal babies from their parents once you kill them for early game access to high level kibble.

I think lag is because the crystal palace is right underneath that area i get 15 fps around there. I can't even go into the center of the floating island I get like 5 fps. Every time I come close to any cave it kills the frames that's how i been finding the caves.I think it's a problem with the map having so many underground areas that don't load in like normal caves do in all the other maps.

I play on xbox and I have never had it lag that much on me and I have a huge base with loads of dinos and it runs good I couldn't go back to ASE aswell

I just wish one day the devs actually start to really care about their game and not just the money and actually do something to improve those nasty performance issues

I just found this out yesterday. There was a duplicate yuty I used for the boss fight. A spino that died in the boss fight and an alpha raptor. So weird

I haave an i9 128gb ram rtx 4070 and never have any lag i do have crashes but thats only from the game online

I'm so glad i play on my own world because i've already had numerous unconscious animals fall through the terrain and snails in fact chitinous creatures tend to be the biggest culprits who give me the middle finger. Now i just go ghost knock it out again if need be and wait for it to tame. I have found that i've lost a lot of cryopodded creatures including my prized bright Red female rex. Luckily i bred her unfortunately none of her young have her colour. As for the penguins they were from the shiny mod so i can't say if i lost them was game related or mod related. The rex was vanilla though but again i don't know if i lost her due to a game issue or another issue. Although i love my psychedelic direwolf as it produces biotoxin bow if i can get a shiny that produces cementing paste i'd be happy because even with increased resource harvesting and respawn rates i just can not get enough of it. This is even though i usually take the saber or dunky on farming runs of 20k chitin/keratin runs if you can guess i pump a lot of weight and melee damage to the point of extremely overkill but i still need more Cementing paste. I'm thinking of breeding my achatinas the way evo breeds his penguins although my greenhouse would need to be expanded by another 200 plots also i can't wait for a mod that will allow me to grow mushrooms and rare flowers and other food crops along with an expanded consumable menu.

I probably would love ASA a lot more but my computer isn’t beefy enough for it. I have a lot more fun with ASE + mods. I really hope someday, when I can afford computer upgrades, and hopefully when there’s more maps to the game, I will finally be able to play it and enjoy it.

I went with Ceratos instead of Yutys. Just grabbed a few babies after killing their parents, since their eggs is all I needed.
