He also got the first one wrong (as Blade mentioned in the chat) - if you skip the Clint cutscene fast enough you get the furnace recipe without meeting Clint. Blade did it in his “marry Haley as early as possible” videos. 😄

There's nothing stopping you from throwing a catfish on the path in real life, either.

That last image was completely wrong. a) As pointed out, you can have 20,500g current funds with 20,000g earnings, if you don't spend your starting 500g. b) As pointed out, you can deny the cat/dog. c) The real issue is that you can't get Strawberries and a copper pickaxe without spending any money - and no money was spent. The other stuff in the inventory might be feasible with no money spent (Melon seeds as museum reward, mixed seeds can grow hot peppers which can be put in a seed maker - so it's really just the strawberries and the pick that are impossible.

Also, gathered from another comment - full backpack requires spending as well. Bottom line: The current funds only make sense with no money spent, but money was most definitely spent.

The first one isn't correct, you actually CAN get the furnace recipe without "meeting" Clint. If you skip his cutscene before he talks, you'll get the furnace recipe without meeting him. Source: a million save files where I only met caroline and willy before the egg festival so I could get the tea sapling recipe early.

Another source: Blade’s video on the runs where he married Haley in mid spring by manipulating billboard quests (which requires not meeting too many people). I’m curious though, didn’t you also meet Robin and Lewis, since they are automatically met as soon as you open your inventory after the start of the game? Or did you avoid opening your inventory until you got tea saplings? Because if so that’s some impressive dedication to getting them as early as possible.

@@elenna1237 you can still meet robin, lewis, and one other villager (I chose willy for the fishing rod) and get at least one request from Caroline before spring 13, and you only need one request + talking and liked gift giving to get 2 hearts in time

Both of them answered questions like a Jubilee Odd One Out. They knew weirdly specific questions, but didn't know peaches and melon seeds??? Did they read random Stardew wiki pages and never actually play the game?

@@salem-01sadly a lot of KZread gamers are like that :/ they just record the game for content and could never truly endure the stardew experience. Also it feels like a job to them, so why would they just play games for fun. Anyway that’s what I think at least :p

@@zxrii you would still unlock the recipe (CA probably wouldn't let you skip it if you didn't). actually, at 10:01 blade himself says in the chat "You got the first one wrong btw" so ariana is right

@@zxrii it is possible and you still get the recipe. As long as you skip a cutscene before their portrait and dialogue appear, you don’t actually meet them. This can’t be done with Marnie or Demetrius though bc they force you to pick an option (mushroom vs bat, pet/no pet)

So that makes two things wrong with it that were not the intended “wrong” thing, which wasn’t actually wrong. Makes total sense.

In the game I played with my friend they had an ancient fruit farm so I knew what they look like and I remember wanting to plant one in my pot but the game wouldn’t let me. The only reason I knew the ancient fruit can’t be grown in a pot is out of SPITE, THOSE DANG ROOTS

You can’t get beer yet because it’s 7:30am and the 1st day and you can only get beer from the saloon at 12:00

One thing I never expected adulthood to do to me was make me laugh at a random chatter saying the phrase "split dye kitchen cabinets" (13:18). Certainly not as hard as I did, anyway. 😅

In the last image, it’s possible to have 500g more than your total earnings if you never spend anything, since you start with 500g and no earnings. But it’s not possible to get melon seeds, pepper seeds or a copper pick axe without spending money.

For that final one, I thought the answer would be the backpack size. You didn’t spend any money to get the fully upgraded backpack, because your total earnings *SHOULDVE* matched your current money.

Love these types of vids cause the viewers can play along too, hoping these are fun for you to make so that you can make more in the future :D

For marnies house I thought it was that she was behind the counter as she's never there lol

@@orion8818 You can trade 200 bat wings for a butterfly hutch in the Desert Trader. I forgot if there’s a specific day or always available though…

Ok, im gonna be playing along, before the answers are reveled, first one is the furnaces, the second one is the sword is out of the chest, while its still locked, Didnt get the third one, or fourth, JOJA COLA ONLY COSTS 55G, Gottem, Is it the peach on the tree in spring? Ancient fruit in the pot, That one was the first thing i ever tried too put in a pot and they have too deep roots, Didnt get the marnie one, kents pants??? didnt get the hp one, or the next one, But it- ughh i lost.

I think you can get the crystal path from Robin. It's the crystal floor is what you get from Krobus, I believe.

The prismatic challenge is one of the easiest for me, all you really have to do is stockpile of lridium, blueberries, corn, tomatoes, copper, and fiber. All of which you should have plenty of, especially if you're preparing for Qi's cuisine

The real problem in the second image is that you're using worm bins.

16:41 you can actually have 500 more money than the total earnings, as the starting money doesn’t count towards the total earnings.

Growing plants in planter pots actually is huge brain. Especially with the space warping effect of sheds

17:20 also if your totals funds are 20500 and your total earnings 20000, meaning you never spent a penny, you couldn't have the golden pickaxe since it costs at least 17k to upgrade from starter to gold (iirc you can only upgrade them from the blacksmith?)

in order to get the jojamart achievement, I had to make a whole new save file to go down that route, and I decided to fully commit to this "Evil Playthrough." This meant that in addition to joining jojamart, I would choose all the mean dialogue options, and, most cruelly, I would deny getting a cat or a dog.

2 sinks in Marnies house is normal. Farms usually have multiple sinks and one is for humans and another one for animal stuff. Both to clean their items etc. Because you can get bad bacteria from using the same sink/products to clean human and animal things together.

I love how the example and the the first one are both possible.

The 1st image isnt quite right if you instantly skip the clint cutscene you dont meet him and still have the recipe You meet him when his dialogue shows up

The last one you also have all backpack upgrades. That would be impossible with the earnings and current currency total being what it is.

That "hardest one" in skull cavern I got immediately

In the skull cave one in the beginning my guess was that his energy was too low, meaning he didn’t eat a stardrop at floor 100, therefore couldn’t have gotten the key? Or can you skip it completely?

you could continue descending from floor 100 without opening the stardrop chest :)

I thought the last one would have been that you had an upgraded pickaxe, but the money difference is only 500g

I thought the last one was that the character had glasses but it didn't show them on the second tab. I'm not sure if it is supposed to tho.

You can get the golden Scythe before you repair the brige in a normal game but you need some out of bound glitches 0:09

well actually you can get to the quarry before unlocking the bridge by using A chair and a Sword/scythe on the first day

I think this is glitchless, ie you wouldn't be able to get these screenshots without cheats.

The last one I thought was the fact that you bought the backpack upgrade but still had the starting 500g.

you can get the golden scythe before you get the quarry. If you clip out of bounds at the regular mines with a chair you can get to the quarry mines.

Actually multiple furnaces could be there. I think. What if there was a farmhand who met Clint and got the furnace recipe.

Gold scythe can be gotten without bridge using chair exploit to get to the other side of bridge and use the farm totems you get from various sources

2:40 To be fair, in a multiplayer game, if one person hasn't claimed the reward the chest remains visible I believe

actually if you play multiplayer the 2nd or 3rd picture is do able since you can have a friend open the chest then give you the sword then you go into the mines and the chest wont be opened

Wouldn’t having the sword without having opened the chest possible in a multiplayer game where another player threw their sword into your inventory?

but... you can catch the golden scythe before the bridge, just use the cave bug + chair

The last one also had a different face on the top menu compared to the full body with the background image

TECHNICALLY SPEAKING technically speaking, the first image is entirely possible in multiplayer as you could receive a furnace from the community center and just wack it with a buddy then BAM two furnaces :O
