The Smash developers have been scrambling to find ways to make multi-hit moves work for over 20 years, and everyday I find clips where I realize that they still have a long way to go.

I'm the toon link from the first clip - my opponent's controller had been malfunctioning for weeks (old procon) and his dpad was ultra sensitive. He fat fingered/palmed taunt trying to dash back or DI (I forget which one, this was months ago). He did it accidentally in some of our previous sets too, but the one we caught on stream contained the most spaghetti by far LOL I learned to not react to taunt with grab when Im stuck in neutral getup 😂

This is why I always just do a fully charged Forward Smash whenever I break my opponent's shield.

3:40 I remember watching an ancient beginner's guide saying that switching your d-pad to shield helps with mashing out of stun. So prob that + forgot to switch his control

My theory is he uses the d-pad to SDI out of the Up B. He fell out but uh oh, it’s the taunt button.

My favorite flavors of fail clips are the ones like the Kazuya and Dedede where they set up the combo to win and then botch it in the worst way possible and the one where Steve charged his up smash and at the very last second the dude ran into it. Like bro really was missing only one drop of patience to clutch that out.

Nothing will beat Sephiroth trying to Gigaflare a breakshield hero with a reflector...

It is now day 5 mashers of me asking marss to kindly unblock me as he was not wired and put the blame on me for the poopoo connection

Why do you care so much? I’ve been playing online for years and ran into him one singular time and very well may have been blocked immediately after. The likelihood you’d run into him again is pretty low regardless

@@saturnsvictory3368 that’s understandable but tbh if marss blocked me for bad connection and it wasn’t my fault I would just cease to want to interact with them, not become the next “petition for marss to ___” guy lol. Pro players tend to block the most anyways so you’ll find yourself unblocked eventually out of necessity

6:40 As a PT main this happens way too often. It's because when you're too low for ivy up b in this situation you have to quickly down b to go charizard and up b to have a chance of surviving. BUT if you just barely grab it with ivy up b and go to swap this happens. Thanks smash

I swear kazuyas grab works differently for other people. That would never have worked for me.
