Thank you for your excellence content! I find it useful to create a Track Folder called “All” and create (or drag in) all tracks within it. This way I can make fast and easy edits to the whole project, and I find it easier than using the Arrange function, or range editing. Also makes it easy to copy 2 or 3 versions of the song further down the timeline to experiment on, or to let a player do multiple takes without using cycle recording.

brilliant....users of studio one ...have already got this by virtue of highlighting in arrangement a section n' simply clicking copy...until i saw this vid a couple of weeks back..i didn't know how to do in cubase....it was as easy as pie to make the macro and even easier in cubase 12 to map it to a controller..one button n' bang...instant arrangement ease...that's of course if you're working in linear inside the arranger view...but still cubase's arrange track is a total killer...n' studio one users don't have that by a long shot.....well in version 6 at least....another reason to move from other daw's to cubase...

Slip editing would be cooler if it could also snap to quanitze settings. That autofade setting is very handy, thanks for that. Most of my macros do zooming and visibility functions for easier navigating. With a tablet and TouchOSC I can activate them pressing a button. What I also use very often is colouring all my groups-, fx-, master-, rearbus-, stems channels and Folder tracks to the proper colour with one touch of a button. 😝

If you want to set it up, heres the following macro commands: Quantize slip left = Nudge start left, nudge end left, nudge right....then set up another macro with the opposite "left is right, right is left" for the slip right. Nudge setting has to be on "link to grid" for this to work but its very useful and fun to mess with for choppy sample stuff

Also to use the range tool in windows and get all the tracks selection its ALT + Shift, dont know if Mac uses cmnd anyway.... Great tips!!! Thank you!!

Just watching the video, even if I’m not a cubase user. In Studio One we have the Arranger track who let us set some range as arranging range and when you cut, duplicate, move or whatever you do to the arranger track it makes follow everything inside this range. So basically it is really fast to make an arrangement when you have your main section by duplicating, copying and then tweaking each section.

I've get rid of Z for zoom, it is very handy key to be used for better shortcut. In my case I use it to snap on/off instead of J
