Instead of contacting the police, you should give the information to their local news outlets and have them pressure the police to take action against the scammers. Publicly shaming their police department for inaction will get them to finally do something about it.

The interesting thing is, in the past, local police departments have actually Crackdown pretty hardcore on this stuff, in fact this call-center here I'm pretty sure was taken over by the police, however the downside is they're able to reopen pretty quickly because they have the money to do so. The Indian government actually last year acknowledged that there are so many scam centres, another trying to crack down on it. So the public can people in general definitely know about this stuff, but like I said I think it boils down to they have the money to keep reopening.

No matter how much pain they feel, they deserve it.

As a Brit if I get ANY Indian voice calling I just put phone down, Yes it is possible some may be genuine and that is tough. Actually you highlighted one of the best side effects, for a uk customer perspective, of these scammers. Many UK companies had to stop outsourcing their call centre work to India as no one trusted them anymore because of the scams and also because they realised using indian call centre outsourcing had created this scam market in te first place. So luckily these days, hearing an Indian voice when calling a uk company is much rarer. So no more language barrier problems to deal with when calling British companies now, in many cases anyway.

Nothing beats the satisfaction I get when I hear the people they call to scam telling them to f**k off.

I've had that crap done to me before, but it was from the IRS. I laughed and played with them for about 30 minutes. It pissed them off and made my day.

As an educated Indian, it's quite hard to watch these thieves try to scam people and steal their hard earned money. It also breaks my heart to see them target elderly and middle aged folks and take away their life's savings. You are doing an incredible job. Watching these scamming pests scream and cry in agony is blissfully satisfying. Kudos.

Agreed, however I think maybe that might be because while what these scammers are doing is wrong and should be exposed. They are still human beings and deserve to have some semblance of a normal life. Meaning, someone, maybe the wrong person who is malicious and possibly a criminal who would cut them physically could end up destroying them. While some people may seem like they deserve that kind of treatment they deserve the justice of courts and the police not criminals who would possibly physically harm them. I hope I made sense.

The UK, US & Australian Govt needs to apply severe economic pressure via sanctions until the money they loose outweighs the money generated via corruption. Until that happens this will never end. I just loved the work you do to reveal such scammers, I wanna to appreciate you for the courage to find the scam and reveal it .

I’ve found a good strategy for actually getting to these guys is by “not being able to understand their heavy accent”. One guy got so mad that even though I pretended to be ok with accepting a policy with them, he became super unprofessional (even for their scam) and hung up 😂 I kept asking if he spoke English

Here in USA, the dialing computers follow the same list, daily, 9:30AM scam 1, 10:35AM scam 2, 2:30PM scam 3, ... and we are instructed to hold or push a number. Sometimes it is an AI computer with stock questions and acceptable responses. For the Medicare one with "How old are you?", it disconnects when I say "87"

Spread the word because the more people talk about the scams the less likely people will fall for it! I’m sure Scambaiter would give up his job if no one was being scammed anymore.

Keep at it my dude. You crushed them. Keep slamming them and don’t be afraid to go even harder when you call somebody up like Uday.
