NA's schedule has to be adjusted every year to accommodate Anniversary's 1-month shift. That adjustment should not be taken as an indication that NA is somehow starting to catch up to JP. Case in point, JP got AQ7.1 the day before they got 7th Anni, and considering Anniversary Maintenance started about an hour and a half ago, it looks like NA _also_ got AQ7.1 just before 7th Anniversary. We did not get it "early."

Taisui, merlin and castoria can cheese Liz with curse damage in 6 turns. It was so satisfying to see.

Yeah, I don't mind waiting for 2 years just to get animation update etc because I have some time to save some SQ.

Catching up to JP, even by a year, is just not possible. How would they handle the holiday themed events? Are we just going to have no downtime at all? You know people have jobs, right? And they've been trying to hire new developers for ages now, so they're clearly understaffed.

tbh the holiday themed events aren’t that big of a deal, other gachas lile BlueArchive had english christmas and new years events in june/july or august atp quite idealistic schizoposting to think of us closing the gap a little and get to just 1 year behind but not that impossible

Arknights global is 6 months behind, so summer is at winter and winter is at summer. It's no big deal, especially if it's temporary for one year.

One thing to take note of in the summer Scathach one, her NP does have insta death attached to it. Lost a run on her last hp bar because it amazingly instakilled my sanzang even with the incredibly low chance when I wasn't paying attention (so no save scum).

You don't have to brute force through Liz's guts. Killing 1 silver chicken will remove 1 guts and deal 500 (5000 for golden chicken) damage to Liz and your party. Use any AOE Servant to kill the chickens (they have very little health) and use a ST Archer to kill Liz.

Or you can double dip and use two looping AOE Servants to take out all her guts in two turns if you really want to minmax.

@@marioflore1996 I used Percival so I didn't have that problem. If you don't have him, use your backline. Use the frontline to NP 4 times with your looper and then allow them to die. Then bring in the back lines and blow up Liz. She shouldn't have that much hp. Just use Robin for that.

I'm stunned. Legit SHOCKED that the Anniversary STILL. HASN'T. HIT!

I managed to get the Scathach quest done with Morgan, Melusine and Castoria for support, guts and invincibility really helped a lot for that fight and allowed for a clear with relative ease.

It's nice to know there's going to be SQ somewhere down the line for this, but I'd really like to MLB any of these drop CEs. Getting 5 copies feels like it's going to take a while if these Advanced Quests only show up every other month or so.

I looped the Chickens and Liz with np1 Zenobia, Castoria and Tama caster for heal sustain

i used my bond farming team for all of them with melusine koyan oberon tamamo and georgios and actually tamamo was very usefull on scat one bcs the cd reduction plus heal and np gain from her np was rly good and melu just stood there getting invincible every scat np and tamamo can just tank it with her 2nd skill so yeah if you guys dont have castoria tamamo got your back

only play since 1.5 years , and i already know that every anniversary they kinda speed up the content , and it seem that every time people think they 'll catch up to jp kek

i actually made the scathach fight with zanzang too sadly scathach triggered death on my castoria in her second np... so i had to spam tamamos cards to keep her from using her np luckyly i had mash in the back line so managed to face tank the last two nps, i also used emiya😅 in the chicken fight altho mine isn't that enhanced in skills and no merlin so ended up clearing the last 2 turns with napoleon

Free SQ my ass! Scathach kept instakilling all my dps and I don't have Skadi to stop her. Had to rely on RNG to pull through. That and my lack of SSR ST Casters made this quests a nightmare, because I basically needed 2 NP for each bar.

I totally forgot that summer shishou np can instakill. I almost lost cause she murdered my castoria and my asclepius in the same turn with her np instakill. Lucky that I had tamamo and nightingale santa in my backline and she didn't had guts anymore. My dps stood with 1k HP only 😂

speaking of giving us early something, I just hope we don't have that huge "nothing to do" gap after LB7 like the JP version had

I used hans, Charlotte corday caster and skandi, hans as sustain charllote as DPS and get out of NP card and skandi for when corday skill is not ready, weirdly enough is was pretty fun somehow and no one died. Thanks for the video

Obliterated scathach with caster illya/caster corday/skadi for dodge and death immune. Corday having a team dodge and team np damage up is quite nice + only take half damage from class. Illya one taps her 150k hp bar and corday one taps her bar after guts when it resets to 100k. So done in 2 phases. I did the other two with maou but the eye one needed a cheeky reset because I had no idea the eye nps were aoe so my taunt tactic failed big time lol

I had to use percival for the liz one since i didn't have any archer that could loop so as long as you have enough sustain even lancers can kill liz

Did the Saber Elizabeth AQ on "hard mode" by leaving the first chicken alone. Beat it in one try with Kama + Cu Alter. For the eyes quest, I needed a second try due to the bosses being cheap with their stuns, but a simple change in strategy got the job done. Summer Kama is actually really good on that one due to her inherent Charm immunity + AOE Charm on S2. Maintenance hit before I could try the Scathach AQ... LOL

I managed to luck out and get Arcuaid on the first roll for her, but I won't be going for anymore copies at this time as summer is where I really want to roll.

The eyes annoyed me a lot, I went with a stun team with waver and benkei and tried my best to keep them stunned most of the time during rain to keep them from regaining stacks. The rain do stop at the 3rd cycle iirc, so stall team works here, it will take a long time tho.

Bazett carried me with Skadi, i love her even more now for actually letting me beat my first Advanced Quest.

"Even if you don't have Merlin, you still have Asclepious" ... Me with NP2 Merlin and still haven't managed to get a single Asclepious 🤷‍♂️

Scáthach was cheese with Tamamo and Castoria support. I personally used Da Vinci DPS. But I’m sure any Caster can take the DPS spot.

Skadi must have RNG death ability on her NP. I lost Castoria WITH her NP active and later lost Sanzang with Merlin's invulnerability up. Was about to finish with Herc... And then maintenance. 😭

Are the advanced quests one-time only rewards for the drops? Like for the bones quest on first completion I got like 6 bones, that's only once right?

I only started like 3 weeks ago and i definitely dont have enough proper characters for these quests. But i still tried some of them, got obliterated by some gold chickens lol.

I've only been playing a couple weeks longer than you and these are pretty much impossible. I've must've attempted the Skadi Quest at least a dozen times, but it just doesn't work out. I can't get my one damage dealer to get the right cards at the right time and then my supports just die to RNG anyways. The chicken and the floating eye quests are just completely impossible; I have no answers to such BS. I just barely managed to clear Forbidden Spell Tome with Mash and Andersen for survivability and Emiya/Achilles (from Story Banner) for DPS. Was about to get wiped out by the final enemy, but got lucky with the enemy's targeting and Achilles managed to get one last NP off. I don't think I could clear any of the other quests even if I tried a hundred times.

Scathatch quest I first tried Skadi + Castoria + Daikokuten but it was so slow it took me 20 turns just to break first guts so I switched Diakokuten out for the Trung SIsters. The archer eyes one I just kinda bruteforced with Melusine + KoyanL + Oberon + Castoria and a backline of Scathach and Habbycat (just to sac for her 3rd skill on schathach) and got it first try. The Eliz Brave and chickens I also kinda bruteforced with frontline only clear (I had oberon habbycat and baoban sith on the backline) of Castoria + np2 lvl100 cranking Morgan and KoyanL - just cleared chickens for the first 3 waves, got three nps in the 4th and just carded Liz to death with Morgan. Mystic code didn't matter in any of the runs cause I didn't need to use it, but I used atlas just in case. Edit: Just wanted to add that I only used Skadi in the Scathach quest cause Assasin Scathach technically had instant kill on her np so I just assumed it would hit 100% of the time cause hard mode/boss lmao. Run would have been so much faster if I had another arts support instead of her.

Chickens are easy I run Parscelsus, Arash, and Habeterot in the front line. Instant np with all 3 after killing the first chicken. Arash and Habby will die by themselves and the hp cut brings Paracelsus down. Then the backline is just zenobia and a 50 charger and zenobia cleans up with one np. Two max

for Scathach i ended up using Okuni, Castoria, and Skadi. i completely forgot but Skadis NP gives Death Resist so i never lost a unit. it took awhile but i did tough it out.

That's what I did on my 2nd account (Castoria / Skadi / Sanzang), after my first account had Davinci instakilled towards the end of the fight.

In liz fight, the chickens spawn right after death not after one turn so you can actually end the fight in 2 turns with habetrot, arash and another dps

I cant do a single advanced quest

Used Astrea to get through the Scathach quest. After flubbing with Kriem, and Squirtoria.

I just hope i get atleast one 5* in any banners. 🙏

More quality of life things like this would be rad. Got to farm them feathers.

The one I struggled with was the stupid Scathach quest, used Bazzennan, Santa Martha, Cu Chulainn and Archer Nightingale, cost me 3 Command Seals just to finish that, ughhhh. The other ones were easy, the eyedrop quest I used Merlin, Castoria and Lambda-trylis, took it slow, the Chicken quest I used Taisui, Castoria, AssAssKoyan and finished it in, like, 3~4 turns EZPZ.

This quest is very easy if you have 2 specific servants. Castoria for obvious reason and Asclepius for Guts. You can use Jeanne if you don't have Castoria

Am I crazy or do killing the chickens remove the guts on Liz and nobody is talking about it? Took me only like 4 turns to beat that with S.Kama Edit: ok a few of you are talking about it. Cool!

What I don’t like on this quest: Why are they all so high lvl or some of them hard or complex? The option to have rate up for drop items is something, the game missed a long time. And especially new player could need them. But, with lvl 60-90+ stuff, is it more suited for mid to late game player. A few earlier on was even hard. Like the one, where you has to beat a lot of enemies. And for other fights does it look like, that you need again certain servants. Like Toria (at best with the ce to increase np charge)

I think you're the only YT FGO player i know that is as passionate about the 2 year gap as i am. You should maka video on its pros and cons. Why we have to get closer

I was really surprised to see the destiny order summon, a little expensive but I summoned anyway, creating your own stacked lineup for a summon is pretty awsome. Really don't like the Scathach fight btw, annoying as hell

I hope they dont speed up na. Give us reruns to fill the gap...

I just started the game like 9 days ago i just login to get the rewards and right now i blew almost all most all of my pulls(137) for Archetype Earth was it worth all of my curent pulls for her or just make a new account and just use the free 5 star anniversary reward charac, i didnt read any guides yet i came here for.

Based on all accounts, it seems Archetype Earth is good...but requires NP2 or higher for her to shine. For a new account, I would roll for a good berserker who can help with most fight early on till you start pulling more characters. Not sure who is in the free 5 star anni reward character. But one to save ur SQ for would be summer event coming up soon such as Summer Ibuki berserker imo

Am I the only one who just doesn't see the point of these quests? For people with the larger rosters that these quests seem to want they don't give any rewards that said poeple would need nor are they challenging enough to be really interesting. The quests occupy this weird middle ground where they're difficukt enough to be annoying that they take so long but not difficult enough to offer a truly interesting challenge like some of the lotto challenge quests did when they first showed up while also not giving any great rewards for completion.

Ugh. Why do they think that ANYONE likes "sustain" fights? Just let us three turn NP them and move on.

@@boggart159 I don't like it in this game, because "difficult" in FGO typically means that you have to _hope_ that the enemy will not choose to kill you when given the opportunity, and you have to _hope_ that you will get the cards you need when you need them. It rarely comes down to actual skill more than pure luck. I have no interest in 10+ round fights where you can lose the whole thing if the enemy gets one lucky turn when you get an unlucky turn. I think for me to actively care about combat in the game, they would need to remove the card RNG and make it easier to counterplay the enemy, so that you can remove or deflect conditions consistently, rather than just being able to do it maybe once every 5-6 turns, and just hope they choose _not_ to debuff you too badly on the remaining turns.
