Walking on stilts that range from ten to fifteen feet in height, the Moko Jumbie character or "stilt walker" is an amazing display of balance and athleticism. Some of them display stunning skills of acrobatics while others dance gracefully along the streets.
The Moko Jumbie is one of the oldest masquerades in the Carnival of T&T and is believed to have been brough to the country the region of West Africa.
