@@GamerNemy even if they're good can they compete with Feng or drag or lilly after these buffs ? I don't think so. Even after the patches Drag Feng lilly Nina Shaheen king are consistently showing up everywhere in top 5. Kazuya Zafina Asuka aren't anytime soon. Even low high had to use drag to reach gf and then switched to Steve only to lose to channel. Same with Numan he won a lcq but that's it. Vs international players he ended up eliminated in bottom tiers

Most of the low tiers are low tiers because their heat is nowhere near the top tiers. By fixing heat moves or giving them new heat options i think raven steve kazuya paul and other low tiers might be able to challenge feng lilly and Drag the new trinity of busted characters. Other than that raven needs long wall carry to set up his wall game. Kazuya needs better tracking moves to set up his oki and higher fixed combos with higher damage. With Paul i think his heat is holding him back a bit.

My number 1 problem with Raven is that he STILL can't launch Rage art

I have no idea why paul needs a buff at all. complete tools/evasion with stupid amounts of damage. 2 combos carried to the wall its gg.

Raven needs better frames bro, most of his safe tools are -7, -8, or -9, You can't check into side step, even bb 2 parry are complicated to do with those frames. I think his running move is the slowest of the game

Sure ill bite. Paul needs buffs because at higher levels he is painfully honest, he does not have any meaningful poke game. He is slower to start (df1 is i14, his i10 is bare bones). He revolves around a single hit timing, no string pressure, etc. YES he hits like a truck but in T8 fashion it needs to be aggressive not JUST high damage (although I'll admit it doesn't hurt) YES demo man is THE most rewarding low in the game but it MUST be clean hit. What other low threats do you have? Pedal pump at i19 after you start to side step or i20 b4? Meh 😒 all you are really left with are db4 and d3 "stress lows". At low levels up to just before intermediate paul cleans house, he does, no argument from me. At intermediate and above he is too honest for his own good. Don't let a paul main (like myself) fool you that he needs more damage or frames on block. Thats garbage and they know it. Honestly i don't know exactly what he needs but I'd look at maybe making 123 not LAUNCH PUNISHABLE ON HIT and make d1+2 shoulder safer but not entirely safe on block. If they really wanted to go crazy maybe a new string or make some of the single hits cancel into front sway 🤷. I don't know that may make him to much like bryan though. Honestly i think they are just going to change frames and damage (the easy route) but that won't help.

Why buff Paul?? Have you tried using him? Try ranking up with him and you might see that he needs the buffs. If you try a ranked run with Paul, then your opinions will change. On paper he seems strong. But he isn’t easy to use. Have you seen any Paul’s at high level doing well in tourneys? Nope. A lot of his new moves are garbage. Like f4 with is slow as hell, and does nothing as a heat dash with f4. Uf2….east linear high that is super slow. Df4 not even plus frame. Ub2 is nerfed. His mids are slow at i14. It’s not great. His ws1,2 isn’t even natural.
