And there's a lot of reverb on the few effects that are present, making everything extra empty-sounding.

I love the fact that in that Mama Wiggler one, while the others use their own Yoshis, Yoshi does it HIMSELF!

I like how the civilized green Yoshi acts independently, while other characters need other wild Yoshis to do their task.

While some of them are obviously busted or clearly not meant to be played, others either are literally completely finished or have a ton of work put in to them. Which makes me question why they weren’t finished or used, what a waste.

For The Block and Mama Wiggler, they were too good (For Mario Party 1 Standard) So they need to scrap these and replace them with Classic like Tug o War and Skateboard Scamper

The jumping minigame, interestingly, is present from MP5 all the way up to MP8. It also inadvertently reveals that 8's new continuous win music is apparently triggered with different code than the previous games, since it actually doesn't function in the jumping minigame as present in 8.

I knew about all of these as I covered them for a wiki thing a few years ago, but I never saw gameplay of them until now.

Definitely not a storage issue, at least for the GameCube titles, which only used around half of the 1.3GB available on each disc.

Mario Party: The Lost Minigames

2:18 The one with the "Now printing" image is titled "Shield Mario". Probably scrapped very early, as it has nothing to do with the placeholder minigame they put after. 1:37 This one I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it's a term that means something like "All or Nothing", or "High Stakes". It would make sense since you have to gamble coins between players. I'm gonna guess it was scrapped and reused for the on-board events which are very similar.

The wiggler minigame has lots of work. Enough work for it to know if you are Yoshi.

In the Wiggler Minigame, what happens if the Yoshi's tongue is stopped over the water? Does the Wiggler fall in? The ribbon wrap rollup minigame seemed much harder for the player than for the CPUs. What's up with that? Anyway, neat video! Thanks for uploading!

The Cheep Cheep minigame in Mario Party 7 almost reminds me of the minigame in the Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass were you have to guide a crane from your boat to avoid getting damaged from obstacles in order to pickup the treasure chest
