I would love to play a non-creepypasta version of that first game, it has the foundation for a really cool Mario game.

The first jumpscare definitely got me. It seemed like you got more HP by filling up the heart counter in the first game, it filled up by one every time you picked up a coin.

IDK if you found out or someone told you, but... "Omae wa mou shinde iru" is a Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star) reference, means "You are already dead"

That cheery start music was from “Mickey Mania”, which on PlayStation is called “Mickey’s Wild Adventure”. _Excellent_ game, you should try it some time, it also starts out in black and white because each level is based on a classic Mickey cartoon, the first level being based on Steamboat Willie. Did you mix up Christmas and Halloween? 😂 I hope we’ll get a Mario Multiverse “one Christmas level in every style” video this year, your fans are on the nice list, so I feel we deserve that, Darby Claus 😁

If you take the option to continue in the Yoshi.exe game you played, you can play as the three other Yoshis and possibly get a final ending if you embark on that quest with all four.

Even seeing these all the way through, I still wanna play them! 🤣

Hi Darby. Me, supermartinho3, recommend you Super Mario UniMaker. It's a fan-made of Mario maker game from Ninstar in 2016-2017. It haves some twists - Yoshi can't jump on piranha plants. - There's some new power-ups: bee-mushroom, blue shell... - When you use blue shell, you run and you get slow down, and you can only jump 1 block. - Everything is not working, like tutorial, sounds... I’m surprised Peach was kissing Toad and not Bowser, it would’ve been too predictable if she was kissing Bowser, it’s almost like a cliché even though it’s not because we never seen that happen before in an actual Mario game that Nintendo made, that goes without saying that Mario games has had a fair share of adult jokes despite how cute and kid friendly Mario games are supposed to be. Happy Mario is based off a creepypasta about a lost episode of Mickey Mouse from the 1920's (hence the black and white) called Sad Mouse.Avi, which has it's own game called Happy Mouse which I totally recommend!! The gist of the creepypasta is that Mickey (or Mario in this case) loses everyone who's important to his life in one way or the other. Minnie (or Peach) leaves/cheats on him for Pete (or Wario), Donald (or Luigi) and Goofy (or ???) die in a tragic car (or kart) accident (Goofy was the one driving and he made a left when he was supposed to go right), Pluto (or Yoshi) got rabies and had to be put down and the whereabouts of Daisy (or Daisy) is unknown. This sends Mickey (or Mario) into serious depression and turns the happiest guy in the world to the saddest one. One fateful day, Mickey/Mario decides to take a walk down the street, which is where the episode/game begins. The episode is practically the same as the game, the more he walks the more corrupted everything becomes. The only difference is that Mario is alive at the end of it while Mickey... Unalives himself with a syringe filled with liquid polonium.

Can someone tell me what is the back story for happy Mario

The Easter egg where it says "Omae wa mou shindeiru" is a direct reference to the Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star) anime. After the main character uses a very fast-paced punch technique, the target of such technique will pay it no heed, like if it was hurt by mosquitoes. But the main character hit many pressure points and says to the opponent "You are already dead" (Omae wa mou shindeiru), which usually triggers a comical "What?" (Nani) reply after which the opponent begins to explode from the inside out, in the most bizarre fashion possible.
