I am a computer science student in South Africa who also has an internship. The number of compromises I have to make when juggling between the two with short work stand-ups and classes is just insane. I would use these to join work meetings for a few minutes when on campus during class time when even when on breaks and even just in general if ever I am busy ... these would help soo much especially as a student as I need the money but also can't afford to stay at home the whole day due to classes

A portable 120 inch screen is wild. If I had it, I would connect it to my laptop and have the screen filled with Chrome tabs so I can see it all at a glance instead of switching tabs. The fact that I could just work like this at a library is mind-blowing, but I know if I do, I'll look super weird. The diopter is awesome as well because I have really bad eyes. Anyways, enjoyed the vid and glad to see you doing well. Happy New Year!

I would use these in bed to watch a movie before I fall asleep while my wife is asleep and doesn't want to watch.

Dude! This is incredible. I’m legally blind and have a lot of trouble finding AR/VR experiences. This would be a game changer for me and would significantly impact my life. The IPhone would be dope too as I’m rocking an iPhone 11. Also just lost my job so my plans to upgrade to the 14 pro max has unfortunately been bumped for a while. Honestly just as a student and having limited room to begin with I would just use this in my room and not be an annoyance to those around me! Also just a big thank you John for keeping us entertained over the years I remember Just being a nerdy 13 year old watching ur videos so facinated by technology and now I'm a nerdy 22 year old with that same fascination (I guess some things never change!) But just wanted to genuinely whole heartedly thank you for putting all your time and effort to bring us new products and keep us entertained and cheers to the new year and all the blessings it will bring! ❤️

So I‘m a college student in Germany rn and since I‘m in a long distance relationship I spend a lot of time on trains. Because of a visual impairment I‘ve had since I was born I just can‘t get anything done when I‘m traveling because I can‘t bring my big screen with me everywhere I go but a regular old laptop is just too small. Having a portable, pocketable 120 inch screen seems like the perfect solution to this. Also I really appreciate your videos and you being so open with your health struggles and things Jonathan! Hi Jonathan, I just had my iPhone 12 Pro stolen on my birthday (28 Dec), and I just finished paying for them too. Still extremely sad about it, but learning about the challenges you faced due to health made my stolen phone seem like nothing. Love your channel and your work. The possibilities that you can do with a device like this are endless. I personally can imagine myself using it literally everyday from work like using them on Excel sheets, e-mails to entertainment be it watching videos on KZread, movie streaming platforms, etc.

I am so excited to try out the near excited adjustments because that's been my biggest question being an eyeglass wearer.

I have a GREAT use for these! I’m legally blind, and I use a 32” monitor that I bring very close to my face with a monitor arm. I use the Mac screen magnifier, but I still need to get really really close. This works OK, I still get a little neck strain, but I can deal. My big issue, however, is my computer monitor bocks my studio monitors, since I have to get so close to the screen. I’d I had these glasses, I could sit back, relax, see what I’m doing, and mix music all at the same time; simply sublime😊

Glad to hear you're recovering well. :) Always wanted to get into VR so this will be a really nice entry point.

Definitely a super practical alternative for a dedicated desk setup. I’d probably pair it with my laptop, since the desk I have right now isn’t really spacious enough for an ergonomic or comfortable setup.

Being able to work and attend meetings on the go is my primary reason. This would be amazing to get, and would love to be able to stay productive on the move. Having sharp display and physical freedom is amazing. Thank you!

I would use these to chat with my son during the week. I only get to see him during the weekends. That part is true, but here's my sad story pitch. I have to walk 10 miles in the snow barefoot to use any technology. It's all up hill and the lands are filled with lions, tigers and bears. It really makes me step back and think "oh my!" Lol great job on the vids. The Dolby Atmos surround sound is actually one of my top 5 YT vids of all time.

I'm so glad they added near sited accessibility! I would only use my switch with those glasses since I don't need to bring a dock anymore.

I've had my (no pun intended) eyes on this kind of tech for a few months now, so I've definitely done my daydreaming and planning for using glasses like these. A personal movie theater experience, gaming on a screen bigger than 14 inches (the biggest laptop screen I've had so far). Even being able to set my laptop to the side, plug the glasses in, and use a wireless keyboard and mouse while reclining for an ultimate cozy experience no matter what I end up doing on my laptop. One thing I'm excited about is using these with a Steam Deck (once I scrounge up the money to afford one) for an excellent portable gaming setup. But even using them with a phone and doing stuff like having a recipe available with my hands free while I'm in the kitchen, or for a book nerd like me, having a book up even while I'm walking between rooms while still being able to see where I'm going. There's a ton of ways to make use of them.

Happy New Year, Jonathan. I’ve been rocking an iPhone 6S much to the amusement of my family so this sweet set up would be great just to see the looks on their faces at the massive upgrade. I travel a lot for work so the screen would be great for an immersive entertainment experience especially since travel is when I get to catch up on some of the shows I watch.

I have always wanted a big screen on my ceiling. With this setup it’s going to complete my dream setup.

For soldiers like myself, when we’re deployed, we’re pretty much in 30-40 man tents for the whole deployment. We have power, but usually only one outlet/power strip per 2-4 people. Some do buy smaller TVs, but they have to put them up in their lockers when they’re asleep/away, so they don’t get taken. Something like this would be a game changer; a soldier like me could just plug a Nintendo switch in, and have something immersive enough to actually have some peace from the deployed environment. The speakers being good, while still being able to hear the things around you is fantastic for us too; a lot of times you can’t wear headphones that cancel out noise, because you need to be able to hear “incoming” from the sirens. If it’s available for me to purchase when I get back home, I’m buying it for my next deployment, for sure.

When watching movies or tv series, I always strive to get that fully immersive experience. I believe a home theater room and system will grant my wish, but alas, I'm so far from having the resources to create such a setup yet. I believe this triple combo of AR glasses, iPhone 14 Pro, and AirPods Pro is the closest thing that could bring me to that experience-and the fact that all of them are portable is a HUGE bonus!

I would use these mostly for work, being able to work anywhere. Having a screen of this quality is pretty game-changing in my opinion. For example, pairing them with a portable, powerful computer would make for really interesting setups.

I would love to use these as an extension to some of the metaverse developments I'm working on in my 9-5(ish) job, and make 'metaverse' something that people can see as a serious thing with many real-life use cases! I love the concept and think that we're at the edge of what's going to be considered the 'norm' in decades to come. Me personally I would use these when at the gym on the bike or cross trainer and then mainly in the evening, in bed next to my son who is 4 months and wife who hates the light from the screen haha, combined with airpod pros!
