They are like little stealth heat-seeking missiles when it comes to catching pigs. The pigs just don't hear them like they do with the bigger breeds.

Yes I do but not straight away. They are easier to pick up when a bit dryer and less messy.

Better to pick immediately, perhaps a little quality kibble or biscuit may help with the consistency for scooping. Any delay gives the parasites an opportunity. We are too old to farm on our own account, but the farmer who leaves dairy calves with us for the summer is appreciative of our pooper policy. Easy just feeding with the ATV and the sheep snacker, and letting the farmer sort out any problems.

I was but ended up keeping Bigsy.

Why these smaller dogs over a dog like Bob or some of the bigger dogs you’ve owned? What’s the difference between like a Pace and Chopi?

Good Question. Choppy is the same breed but Choppy got killed while pig hunting. The most important factor in catching pigs is stealth. A big dog like Bruno or Bob makes a lot of noise struggling to get through thick bush to the pig and the pig hear him coming and is gone!. These little dogs are like stealth heat-seeking missiles on pigs in thick scrub. I caught a 107 lb sow in the forestry on Friday and she was just asleep in her nest. She did not even run anywhere and the dogs secured he so fast the meat was all in good order and it was a quick clean kill. They also do not heat up as much as bigger dogs.

That was well interesting mate cracking breed don't think much should get away from them 🐷

$1000 Kiwi, thats around 750-800 Oz. Well worth the dosh. if I was a Kiwi i'd definitely want a couple of those beauties

@@ClayTallStories Yes sir, she is something else. Getting a female from Wayde is so tempting but bringing in pets here is tough on them with the quarantine. A unique trait (those terriers) being both a family pet plus a grabber if on the hunt. Mahalo and Aloha from the Big Isle "🤙"

So they are whippet and bully or whippet and foxy type?? Very similar to my pup. She's whippet/heading/Staffy. Heading markings but very similar build and personality traits to these
