This breaks my heart because I just paid $1K for the Obi Wan Holo. It does hurt a bit to know it’s going down in value but it’s a beautiful pop and will stay in my personal collection forever. Thanks for all the info, I appreciate it and have a great day.

The one I think will go up is the Amazon exclusive that some is dope with the white sabers

Ahsoka is one of my favorite Star Wars characters and I have all of them. I do belive this Ahsoka pop will go up again when they start airing the series. Looking so much forward to that show. Thanks for another great video John. 👍🏼😃

I can confirm that patience is the best virtue as a funko collector. There have been a lot of pops over the years I’ve wanted but I have always held out for a price I’m willing to pay not what the pop is necessarily trending for. I’ve been able to get pops for good prices that I’m happy with even if the value of the pop drops or rises.

PPG has lately been driving me a little crazy!!! One day a pop can be worth one price. And the next day the value has dropped significantly. So that’s why I have been buying more sodas than pops.

Joker is a weird one. They are using several sales from a seller from China. Market could be flooded with either not authentic pops or some kind of overseas restock of a common pop. Also consumers and sellers do get caught up in PPG on the down swing as much as they do on the upswing.

I think the holographic glow in the dark ahsoka is taking value from the normal mold ,and has been increasing in price the past 3 months

I have all of the DC imperial palace metallic pops. I think the Robin you have isn't high because there is the Robin Chase metallic which is going for $540 plus there is also the Robin Chase Patina worth $175 Some red box hold vaule better than others for some reason. Very cool 😎 video of of great information.

I was at Star Wars Celebration and my friend and myself were one of the lucky ones to get the 3000 LE Obi Wan that we missed out on the lottery! We did see a lot of people though try and abuse the system and get multiples especially since it was 1 per person

Awesome video! It is truly crazy to see how some of these have come down. I was so disappointed when I did not get a lottery spot for the Treasure Skeleton. I love the mold on him and am glad they made a Disney Parks exclusive. Currently have one of the "commons" in and out of box. Tempting to buy a glow one too now with the price where it is currently.

Great Video, one pop that I saw that has dropped over the last 6 months is the Freddy as C3PO, it was almost 1000 in the middle of nov 2021 and now is at 640 and the Glow chase Donatello soda has dropped as well at 55 right now

Happened to me too and I was so annoyed

Dude I was hurt bad with the Blacklight Eddie Brock I went to Target for weeks when it dropped without any luck. All because of people buying up stock & employees scalping & lying, just the worst experience ever. So disappointed in the community as well with that specific pop. I eventually ordered off of an overseas site, just bought the special edition one for like $30. I definitely wasn’t going to pay over $30 for it.

Agghhh, we're sorry about that experience, hopefully it doesn't happen again. It was a rough time. $30 seems to be most reasonable for it at this point but at least you know your spending boundaries.

The value of Freddy's goes up and down it was never gonna maintain the the $1000 priceline that people were paying at the start.. But I was happy to be able to do a trade with you because I know how much you love your Freddy's so I wanted to get it into the hands of a collector I knew would treasure it. Thanks for the shoutout :) Great video so interesting the way pops go up and down for sure. Keep up the awesome work. So close to 9K :) so awesome.

Ok first love the video idea John. Maybe incorporate it into your Pops trending up videos. Like an ups and downs😢 video. Good to know about the original General Grevious Pop being under $50. I'll have to get one even if I have the better Hot Topic one. Walgreens one should go back up cause if you collect Pops you know about how bad Walgreens exclusive boxes can be damaged.

For me. Obi wan could be ones that were unclaimed as well. But I feel he is definitely gonna trend back up. Those low sellers have already been bought up from what I can tell. The joker chase is a mystery, glad I found him in the wild.

im glad I got the ahsoka pops when I did ive been collecting all the ahsokas and I cant wait to see if there will be more due to the ahsoka series or tales of the jedi I would love to see a baby ahsoka funko or one with the woman carrying her and she is holding her

again I am not a value collector I collect what I like that being said how come the majority of sodas go for less than retail especially if it's a Carmen is it reflecting True Value on ppg or do they just not do a good job at tracking sales and how come there's no difference on PPG between us and international you would think the international would be worth more since they are a lower count

Nothing wrong with being a value collector. I don’t think PPG has accurate prices for sodas because a majority of them are not sold on eBay. I do agree international should be worth more since they’re more limited however some collectors prefer not to have international sodas in their collection. Thanks for watching Nick 😁

I am a huge fan of the Eddie brock, black light. I think it really captures the way venom is supposed to look, unfortunately i haven’t seen it in the uk. And you have fundays news? I haven’t heard anything

@@Slapshotpops he gave me a 1 star review on Mercari and tried to claim I had faked it. It was crazy. I’m interested to see these black light ones. I still enjoy the black light exclusives.

For me personally the Eddie Brock price drop is hurting me emotionally, I love Venom he’s my favorite Marvel character and to see his value drop from $75 when I got him is painful. I got him as a gift ($55) At the time it was worth $75 and for awhile and still now it’s my #1 value pop but one thing I like is being able to know I have valuable pops (my goal is to get all my top ten over 100) and seeing it decrease is painful, feels like I’m getting farther from even one $100 Pop

Hey that’s a great goal to have right there, and as long as you’re focused and you put in the work, I have no doubt that you’ll reach it. Don’t freak out too much over it taking a little bit of a dip. Venom is a very popular character and this pop in particular has a high chance of going back up. Thanks for watching Evan!

Personally, I think that a decent number of the NFT physical redeemables will actually hold value especially considering the limited piece counts and in some cases the pops being the only instances of particular characters in pop form. The gambling aspect of opening packs definitely does not appeal to everyone and I'm not even the biggest fan. However, last weekend I was able to scoop up a Kellogg redeemable NFT for just over $30 and I highly doubt it will be worth less than what I paid at least in the near future. Also, a pop in my collection that has gone down in value quite a bit recently is the Bo-Katan Kryze chase. She's sitting at a sad $20 and I doubt that will hold true with Mando Season 3 likely bringing her into the fold.

Never buy just for value of pops. It's a collectors evil. Collect what you love, and you will be happy. Don't worship the onliners telling people what to buy.
