Shame about the missplay in game 3 where I gained memory I shouldn't have. Can't remember what was in hand but it mightve made the difference with getting game on the last turn. Good learning experience from first week of bt12.

I think you were still in a good spot honestly and that’s why it’s really hard to say if it would have changed the outcome. It’s an honest mistake and I definitely could have missed it along with the other misplays I’ve made on this channel haha 😆

In my opinion, with 1 memory left after playing burninggrey, and not knowing what is still in both of your hands, you could have gone into aldamon on burninggrey for 1, because of the tamer in the stack. Attack with Alda and force him to block with wizard. There would have been the choice between security check and gaining memory, or blocking and losing the only body. And then it all depends on whats in your hands

11:00 misplay, when attacking with the warp imp, it cannot trigger the egg as its not a demon/wizard. Gotta digievo as the beelzemon to then get the egg to trigger, not before hand.

I have a question here, do we not pick the order of effects? if we proc the impmon effect first is the inheritable not gonna proc as it is now a wizard/demon on attempt of swing?

Love the content and editing, keep it up. Also, attention to mistaking cards when indicating what was played. At 8:36 , the flamemon digivolved wasn't the bt4 searcher, but the 4 cost flamemon that gives inherited piercing to hybrids and Ten Warriors

By the way, at 11:05, beelz player can't activate yaamon at all, since impmon isn't a wizard or demon lord and, by the time he warps, the when attacking of yaamon has already missed timing

​@davem3274 I did misplay by doing the mill first, but if the Impmon warped into Beelzemon first then the Yaamon would mill because the attacking digimon is Beelzemon as it resolves! A ruling I had to look up beforehand and still managed to get in the wrong order 😅

@@jakegrootenboer7012 yo, do keep in mind that you can't activate yaa before or after warp, due to missing timing. I know this due to ancientgrey and marcus interactions, which work similarly. Basically, the attack declaration happens at the impmon stage, so when you activate the when attacking warp, you pass the point where the yaamon can register the attacking declaration. This is how rulings have been proceeding atleast, if you find some bandai details/q&a that can clarify, do tell tho

@davem3274 Yaamon and Impmon "when attacking" both trigger at the same time (it doesn't check for the traits at this time), I choose which order to activate them, Impmon first then Yaamon second. Yaamon checks for the traits when it activates not when it triggers, because Impmon has already activated and resolved Yaamon activates after it has already become a Beelzemon and now must mill 2. I couldn't find any official Bandi ruling but I had it confirmed by a judge that it works this way

The baalmon on deletion affect does matter as it would include the full stack that is deleted, bringing it to over 10

That impmon had to be errata’d, it should say after you play an impmon from trash to add it to hand. Just an odd misprint 🫠

Hey mate, so the effect on beelzemon is that when a card is trashed the digimon gets security +1 for the turn so even when it digivolves it still has that +1 until the turn ends. Hope that helps clarify that one 😁

@@philippisler6641 no no that’s exactly the reason, the whole stack is the digimon so effects carry over. Another example would be if your opponent played a card to give your digimon security -1 when you evolve that digimon it would still have that -1 security because it’s the same digimon. The only thing that contradicts that is DNA evolution becuase it treats the digimon as a new digimon created from the combination of the two. (That might be extra info but it comes up a lot in this set with imperialdramon)

You called out the Red Hybrid player for the Burning Greymon misplaced but you didn't call out the Beelzemon player for milling with Impmon. Impmon himself cannot proc the Yaamon egg inheritable.

Yeah a few people caught that but I definitely didn’t! He needed to do the warp first so definitely an order of operations issue 😁

Yeah they did get that out of order, they should have warped then done the trashing so it effects what would have been trashed/in hand. I think you’re thinking of the plug-ins though, x antibody just needs a digimon on field to ignore the colour requirements. I played it last night and you had me worried I’d been accidentally cheating on camera again so I had to double check just now😂😂

Nice video but you also forgot that the Takuya source has to survive the security check to gain the memory. If the stack dies when swinging for security, you don't gain the memory.

@@kylenewey9278 I am a judge and if the Digimon gets deleted by security combat or hitting an option you don't gain the memory. The Digimon has to survive the check and have the inheritable in stack to gain the memory

In the first Game the beelze player should have atked, get resources and try to clean bord with blast mode, that would have helped him and also speed up his game

Yeah I definitely don’t think he was expecting the double atomic but it’s all about learning that matchup and figuring out what’s best way to play 😃 That tempo definitely could have helped!

If I had to pick something it would probably be one of the new pieces. Possibly the new Takuya but that would probably be a bit extreme so I’d say the new burning grey or agunimon would be targets. They’re just super easy to go into and swing with. I doubt we will see anything for a while though if at all 🤔

Last Turn, no missplay! The Tamer make 2000DP for Burning Greymon and The Burning Greymon effekt make 2000DP so he have 10.000DP and gain 2 Memory.

Unfortunately it was the old burning grey not the new one, but they may have had it in hand and just mistaken it when they evolved. Definitely could have still gone the way it did, it was likely just a mixup! 😁

Yeah I missed that in editing, misplays happen and I try to call them out when I catch them because I know the guys I’m recording have no bad intentions it really is just accidents or mis understandings. One day we will have a match on this channel with no misplays but I haven’t got one yet haha 😅
