Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Its not often that there are good news stories when it comes to British Wildlife but I am happy to share some with you in this video. Recently the British Trust for Ornithology released there latest data to show that 11 birds have set new records for how long they can live in the UK!

Oh,I will ! Thank you ! I keep my eyes on the sky. I saw a bald eagle flying over us while out walking my dog last week. Also, the red wing black birds were in a cluster of trees singing . Beautiful melody. Merry Christmas 🎄 🎅 🕊 🐦 🐦‍⬛ 🦜

I had a semi-tame blackbird in my Nan's garden that lived to 6 years old, he used to visit everyday but only recently vanished last month. Not record breaking but above average.

Love your channel. Bird mad myself. I see Choughs regularly here in the West of Ireland. I have a new visitor at my birdfeeder. A male blackcap. Not ever seen one here before in 25 years. I was so chuffed. I hope our local sparrowhawk doesn't get him.. Happy Christmas to you and yours❤

Lovely to hear of birds living longer and hopefully breeding well too 👍 Books often give the average age, which includes chick mortalities, which doesn't tell you how long the adults generally live !

It's truly heartwarming to have these upbeat stories on bird longevity, particularly as we've lost so many birds to avian flu. This film also serves well as an identification fact file, so definitely one to revisit! Nice one Liam, and a Happy Christmas to you and all your loved ones. 🎄⭐👍

Thank for the video Liam, it’s surprising just how long wild birds can live. We have a carrion crow with a damaged wing (it can’t fold it properly) which has been around our neighbourhood for at least 7 years now, successfully raising a brood every year.
