I love that they are FINALLY giving curvey dolls outfits that fit well, are flattering, and not over-sized or boxy looking.

i just think Mattel releasing a Barbie Extra line with decent fashions would be a terrific start. i’m glad they finally did away with the pets.

They still use way too much jewelry. If I were to get this doll, I would take away her nescklaces, her belt, and the wrap around skirt.

@Blake Gildaphish I only have the Extra Fancy with the pink dress. I think it's time to put that dress on one of my Barbie Looks doll. The dress is the only reason I bought it. I have a Fashion Avenue outfit that would look cute on her. I can leave on the pink tights. I think it would look great minus the jewelry on the redhead with the curly hair from last year.

Thanks for reviewing these Extra Fly dolls, I’m so glad that Mattel has given us a swimsuit and other beautiful pieces for a curvy. Pocahontas was also a major favourite of mine. My mum is half Native American. Like yourself, I come from a mixed race background. Looking back on the film and how I felt as a child, it was very emotional. But as an adult, colours of the wind seems like a straight up mushroom trip, especially when she takes John to Mother Willow. A talking tree! Avatar doesn’t come close. 💯

These Extra Fly dolls are beautiful.

I was watching this while watering my plants and I’m glad I looked over at the screen to catch the visuals to match the Pocahontas snarky sarcasm lol. That was good. She’s beautiful. I’m totally in my phase of collecting older dolls like her because I absolutely love experiencing the fabrics and design of them. Looking past what’s collectible and what the artists actually put their whole hearts into… it’s just jaw dropping.

I really like the June face Extra Fly and I love your theme ideas for them too. I would love to add all the dolls you shared to my collection too. The Pocahontas Doll was an amazing find, she’s gorgeous.

Great video! I have that Christie and also think she's stunning. Got the Extra Fly Ken a couple of weeks ago and LOVE him (and his rooted hair). His new sculpt is marked 2022, and the hair looks much better with the product brushed out. The cool bag, awesome painted shoes, and the other accessories hopefully point to a new, higher quality direction for playline Barbie. Fingers crossed we get more Ken Extras! 🤞🏾

Plus, with rooted hair, you can style and cut it. I do that regularly and it gives you the option to come up with some great hair style ideas

Ken Extra Fly was the first one I bought in this series. I am a Ken collector, but he’s also unique and special, that is, EXTRA.☺️

Love this Ken!! I hope they do more Ken Extra dolls that are done this well! 👍🏼 They should do a cool Barbie and Ken Extra combo set. This would have been cool set with this “ travel” theme. Like a ski weekend set with matching luggage ect….

I love the Millie face but I don't need dozens of her. I hate that Mattel often gives the Millie face the best outfit. The June is gorgeous. I love the Ken, especially his shoes. I love your theme ideas for Barbie Extra. Thanks for the video.

It also bothers me that they give Millie the best outfit. Which I understand cause she’s the ‘Barbie’ of the group but they really need to move on from the Millie mold, it’s getting old.

For rings for ken dolls… I buy really cute cool earrings in the multipacks push one through his finger, then take wire cutters to cut the sharp edge on the inside of the finger than twist the end

Another concept: Barbie Extra Space theme, inspired by a retrofuturistic aesthetic from old-school Barbie or kinda sci-fi movie-themed dolls. As a Barbie collector and sci-fi geek, I am kinda frustrated by the extremely low number of Barbies and other dolls inspired by space and aliens. There are a lot of fairies, mermaids, and unicorns, but you can't produce a proper space doll? Like, girls aren't interested in science fiction and don't watch Star Wars and Doctor Who. I mean, I know about SW Barbie collectibles and Zooey Electra from Shadow High. But making playline space dolls on Extra-level and at a reasonable price would be awesome too.

I like the Extra Fly dolls better than the majority of the Extra dolls. I enjoyed some of the pets, but I have enough, so it's nice to see a change. June and Ken are my favourites too. I will definitely be getting June, but I'm not sure about Ken, just because there are so many dolls I have to budget for.

I have the Ken doll and I actually don't mind the rooted hair. I personally don't mind styling it and I'm just glad we got a ken that's not a basic stiff arms and boring clothes.

I agree with you totally about preferring sculptured hair, rather than rooted nylon hair. I’m always amazed by the sculptured results; they really capture the humanity of the doll.

I really like the ken doll, I can just probably style it myself. Not as good as her concept art, but I would be inspired to make it.

I do prefer my Ken dolls with real hair like this ken extra because I can style it with gel or just have it rowdy as men we can not do alot with our hair at least we have it long.

I think it's becaus the pets fits the Monster High world, while the Extra pets looks very cartoonish in comparison with the more realistic Barbie dolls. But I agree with you on the Hate train Barbie gets every release. People get the same amount of bad quality in Monster High but every release people go crazy
