this is a lukewarm ass take tho because the giratina alone is almost reaching 300. if you wanted an actual hot take you can say how this would be the third coming of evolving skies because probably 151 might be the second coming of evolving skies.

Opened a few Lost Origin booster boxes and got very lucky and hit the AA Aerodactyl! Looking to grab a few more LO and BS booster boxes before they go out of stock!

Nice! I never opened a LO Booster box and regret it, TBH i kinda slept on the set when it released. Have a few boxes sealed but barely any of the hits in my collection. Keep buying while you can! Both will shoot up there soon!

So glad I picked up all the big SWSH alt arts 10s before the big spike...I like BS but LO is prob gonna pass fusion at some point for 2nd...was going to pick up ST for $800 but now thinking I should just go LO for $935 at PC

LO would be better than ST, I like ST but not a lot to hit, good pick up on the Alt Art 10s. I have a few of the expensive ones but should scoop some more while I can. I’m sure if you shop around you’ll find a case for LO for a good price

They are limiting silver tempest to only 4 boxes per customer now on PC. That one may go sooner than most think. Also when LO does go, could easily see $250 by end of year

Interesting, I feel even if ST sells out next it might not climb too fast. Seems like a set not many people are after and the Lugia is an easy pull and pretty cheap. LO on the other hand I can agree with! Either way all 4 of the Trainer Gallery sets will be worth a great bit of money one day like the Tag Team era of SM

Yeah! Battle styles won’t get too high ever but I think it’s a good pickup. I’m kicking myself in the butt for not picking a few up at $80, brilliant is gonna boom eventually

New sub. Tuning in from Australia. Ive got a strong pos in swsh. Most would say jump into SV while its cheap but Id argue against it. I think swsh even at these prices. Could be a SM type of scenario. 3x-5x returns. Where as SV could stagnate for years and get reprints.

I can see that, I think SV is better if you are newer into it or want to spend less but I 100% agree we might see a similar pattern to the Tag Team era. These trainer gallery sets are the Tag Team era of SWSH and I think we'll see some of these sets at $1000 by the 5 year mark. Gotta remember were not even 2 years out from the release of Astral and its creeping towards $200! Thanks for the sub and the comment! From Canada to Australia! I love it haha I got family over there and would love to visit one day!

They’re awesome! I have one in an acrylic display with my PC etbs and some of the chase cards I hit!

Astral Radiance is a cool set but it will always lag behind Chilling Reign. When Lost Origin sells out that one will climb like Fusion Strike or maybe more. Silver Tempest I believe in because of the Lugia Alt art which is the 10th highest mover on TCG Player now. People just love this card and it will push the set.

I agree, I think astral is similar to chilling reign and even battle styles since all 3 are heavily influenced but the swsh DLC and legends arceus. Long term I believe in Silver Tempest. Personally something about that set pulls me in. I loved chasing the Lugia and I think it’s one of the best alt arts for sure.

Honestly I don’t know much about Japanese. I’m not sure if the magikarp would hold more value. I think English in a 10 would be the higher value since quality is so good on Japanese but I only have a dozen or so Japanese cards, my advice isn’t very valid in the subject lol

I do mention in there if you see ES for retail to buy it, it’s still gonna go up but I’d rather buy a case of paldea evolved then 1 ES box tbh. There’s gains to be made but I prefer to get in low

I would invest in 151 because people will like the OG pokemon which will go up in value and i reccomend buying 5 etbs

Oh yeah, I wanted to avoid talking specialty sets in this one but 151 is a no brainer. Even purchasing at MSRP it smart with that one.

Keep sealed! I think astral especially isn’t worth opening at this price. Lots of the singles are cheap

Personally, I bought a couple boxes at about $105 when they came out. I wouldn't spend $160 cause the values not there but in terms of investing, it will go us, just not as much as some other sets. Id rather put a bit more into a box of LO or go for Paldea Evolved over Astral

I was too busy loading up on lost origin and the other TG sets, I didn’t think astral was going to sell out first on pkm center. Now I just feel like I want one for my PC cuz I missed out hah.

Sadly Blaziken isn't $197....last sold NM on TCG player was $250 and lowest reputable seller on TCG player is around $300 now, with some for $250 on eBay, but all crap condition. This damn ugly chicken is gonna cost $500 soon as a psa 10....I'm buying a 9, stupid karate bird 😂

There’s still been some NM copies sell in the last 2 weeks under $200. I don’t buy off tcg player personally but you’d be better off haggling a deal at a card show if you go to one soon. Tbh I love blaziken as a Pokémon but hate the card lol not a fan of the art style. You can prob get a 9 cheaper then a raw copy in some cases so keep your eyes peeled! Might be a good pickup
