Definitely too expensive. I've kept a few subscriptions, but dropped half of what I used to buy annually. Silver is up today, to it's current $30.50. The prices were already too high, but it looks like they're determined to keep prices near 3X bullion value. 2.5X wasn't enough for the greedy US Mint. How nice of them to give the before & after increase prices EVEN for things that aren't even available for purchase yet, like the 2-coin RP Silver Dollar Set. Yeah, it's $185 now but will be $215, BUY NOW! ? I switched from purely stacking to more collecting a few years ago. But, they're killing the goose that laid the golden egg. I'll keep some of my non-silver annual coin set subscriptions. I can remember when I bought the silver proof set every year. Seems like it was $40-50, wasn't it (circa 2010)? These prices far outstrip inflation and even the price of silver. It's really pissed me off. Very disappointing.

Too expensive for me.

I emailed the Mint and sent in a complaint. If there going to do this they should offer more than free shipping to their loyal customers, like a rewards program for buying a certain amount of their products. Otherwise you lose those who have regularly purchased from the mint for years or even decades.

The US Mint is showing everyone that you can, in fact, eat silver.

It's hard to want to buy it to these prices now because it's getting to the point where sometimes you can get a better deal on a secondary market. So you gamble with her to take the plunge or wait out and see if the heat dies

It will make me much likely to buy from the Mint as well. Next year, they will raise commem prices. Guaranteed.

You can only buy products that have been released before July 9th at the current prices. Which makes sense. Wouldn’t let me buy the reverse proof sets coming out this fall. I’ve already cancelled my other prescriptions.

Thanks for the update, Wolvie. I am going to keep subscriptions but lower a couple of them down to 1/each. I hope Ms. Gibson gets a report next week of how subscriptions have dropped. If you obtain any information on subscriptions, please let us know. Maybe Gibson doesn't give a crap because she knows she is done once Biden drops out or loses the upcoming election. Done with the Mint, cancelled all subs (over 10) but the Two coin reverse proof set, regardless of price I still love the finish.

What bad timing to raise the prices on silver collectibles two days before the big release of a popular collectible coin.

Buy 3 silver rounds instead. Greedy mint .

These large price increases are telling us that silver is definitely on its way up. Currently at $30.54 6pm CST.

Ive sold my 6 coins from last year morgan and peace i think i lost 30 dollars which wasnt bad after shopping around to sell most dealers wouldnt even buy them one place offered 410 and when i found one that offered 460 i jumped ship. I would rather buy 8 bu morgans from the 1880s for the same price as 6 new coins. At the end of the day the only ones worth buying were the 21s. I wont buy anything from the mint except eagles on secondary market at a discount.

Put a stop to the prices going up Just don't purchase anything from the US Mint . You will see US Mint drop prices as fast as they raised prices

It's funny that the prices go up just before all the good coins come out a few days later

I bought the 2.5 oz medal for 175.00 and the peace silver dollar for 80.00 so just canceled, and deleted my credit card.

Cancelled all subscriptions at the Mint.

Yeah got the email today also from them and 2024 M&P $91 bucks somthing like that... wow can imagen the prices for the other silver products 😕

Yep. I got that email as well. I had already cancelled all subscription even before this price increase. Glad I have a mature stack, not buying any silver at these prices.

About 45 years ago a class action lawsuit was brought against the Franklin Mint for PRICE GOUGING their silver products by 2x the price of silver. The suit was dropped when the price of silver went over $40 an oz. Thanks to the Hunt brothers! You would THINK some HOT SHOT LAWYER would start a class action lawsuit against the U.S. Mint as they are now charging OVER 3X the price of silver ( currently $31.50 or thereabouts!) What do you folks think about some lawyer taking up our case against the mint for PRICE GOUGING?

I’ll stick with my Mexican libertads but thank you.

I would bet that all or the vast majority of these coins were made well before the price of silver went to $30. Im done with the mint. There comes a time when price increases break your back. This broke my back. Bye bye mint.

I hope to keep purchasing what I have in the past. This is just keeping up with gold which is way to expensive in my option. As for the space force medal 2.5 oz. its not surprising that it went 225.00 and maybe by the time it comes out it will be even higher;.It is her last chance to make any money on the series..

No. You can only get the old prices if you actually buy something before the prices go up. I called the Mint and verified that.

I canceled all but one peace dollar $91 is ridiculous $76 was high enough ☹️

I will cancel most and maybe all subs. The only upside I see is that spending less on mint stuff leaves me with more to spend on coins I really want instead of collection fillers. I smashed the thumbs up but hate the message (not the messager). I want that 2019 S ASE.

Since they are raising prices will they produce lower numbers. I don’t think they will sell as many.

Not interested. It was a good marketing move by the Mint to sell at the old price for a few days.

Prices too high for the continued bad quality packaging.

I’ll buy them again when my annual salary increase matches the price increase. They raised them 15%? Looks like I won’t be getting any of them this year. Total joke. Raising prices way too fast now. Pure greed.

I don’t like this and something is really wrong here. I won’t be buying anything from the US Mint. It’s not like they’re doing anything extraordinary with their products. Specially when you look at other mints the blow us out of the water.

I was just looking at the coins in this thumbnail..... Is it just me or do these "ladies" look like they are half way though a transition?

If these are Mint new price rates, imagine their retail costs. In addition, Fewer coins are likely to be graded, so grading costs are likely to increase as well. Spot is going to rise with all these other increases from the Mint. Now the Mint will have to produce “must have commemorative coins” to offset the losses I expect following the price increase. Ends one of my hobbies. I’m going back to fishing and metal detecting. 🫡 This might be a blessing in disguise so having a few 2024 Morgan and Peace dollars might not be a bad idea. 🤔
