I say what I'm about to say, not to be mean/harsh, but because I genuinely want to help 🙏 so, I'm honestly not sure why you told me you uploaded 42 designs. It doesn't matter whether you upload 42 designs, or 1000 designs. If none of them are good, none of them will sell! On the flipside, if you upload just 1 great design, then that 1 great design will sell, even if you only uploaded 1, so why focus on the fact you've created 42 designs? SCAMMERS ARE IMPERSONATING ME! Warning - scammers are making fake KZread channels & Instagram profiles. They steal my picture and ask you to DM them, or contact a Whatsapp/Telegram number. I will NEVER do this. Also, my KZread Account has a verified tick. If the person replying to you doesn't have a verified tick, IT ISN'T ME! However, people believe these fake accounts and they are texting the numbers and getting scammed, which genuinely breaks my heart 🥺 if you spot one of these fake imposters, PLEASE report them so that others don't fall victim to them. Another great video :) I've been wondering: do you need to make a white underlayer for designs that are going on black clothing/canvases? Or does the printing company do it for you?

As long as you provide them with a print file that looks good on black, they'll take care of the printing prep for you. The printing process they follow for black clothing is different for this reason 🌞

Hey Sarah, been watching your videos. They all have been really helpful. A lot of them have been preventing me from making a bunch of mistakes before launching. One of the items I'm interested in selling are yoga pants though. However, I've heard good and bad reviews about POD leggings on whether they are see through or not (Printful being one of them). I don't want to upload all my designs if, as an end result, I receive bad reviews or unhappy customers. Do you know of any POD companies that don't have this issue?

Can you please make a video on how you do your calculation to make sure you get profit in every sale. Please include on how you market your products (advertising)

Hi Sarah I have a few questions which I can't seem to get answers for, regarding Etsy Privacy. When the buyers make a purchase do they see the address I set up as a 'delivery address' or the address linked to my bank card/Billing address? Also do they see the name on my card/billing address or the store name? Thank you ever so much. You are the reason I started my own print-on-demand stores.

You can definitely hire Fiverr gigs to create great designs, I certainly have, but you'll need to come up with the idea for the design yourself. If you hire an artist to do both, understandable they'll just copy something else that is already out there to save time, it's not realistic to ask them to both come up with an awesome idea, and draw it. @@WholesaleTed firstly, thank u for responding, u have my "eternal gratitude" 🌞 Secondly, it's rly not that I'm being lazy or procrastinating, i WANT to do the designs myself, but everytime i think about it, i always end up fearing not making the design to the best of its capability and putting it on etsy or redbubble and someone just coming and stealing the phrase while making a better design, thats the only reason im thinking about hiring an artist, otherwise i wouldve done it long time ago! That is the only all over hoodie. So it is probably most popular because that is the only hoodie you can do all over print on. It would be nice if they offered several of them because they don't look that cozy. I think it's only popular for the aop feature. They need to have more options for the aop products

The world is full of different seasons at the same time. So a winter in NYC, is not the same as a winter in NYC. Or some countries, are in the summer time. So I don't think there's a season for some types of clothes.

I work with VAs all the time! If you have any specific tasks, you can find great VAs on Fiverr. If you'd like to hire a general VA, I have hired mine through Upwork & OnlineJobs.ph

I understand making products of specific designs, but I dint understand how to advertise if we don't have any traffic through social media accounts? Do we use advertising functions already available on the website?

I personally don't like the Gildan hoodie. I've ordered many for myself and others an within a week or two, the threads break. The kangaroo pouch falls apart. Loose threads appear in the hood, and sleeves. I'd rather spend the extra few dollars for a higher quality product that will last me longer. I love your videos, Sara! You are amazing! Keep on dancin'!

Hi. I'm getting ready to start an Etsy or a Shopify store. Can you please do a video explaining What charges I will be responsible for until I can earn money? I do have a credit card But It's a low $ 500 limit. Would that be too small to use?

I am curious to know whether you have looked at Gelato or not? I'm in Australia and trying to work out which is better for me to use ie. Printful or Gelato and whether to market to Aus/NZ or US or both? From a profit point of view Gelato appears way better as their prices are much lower. So confusing!

I have never used Gelato, but Printful is the golden standard in the POD industry, and I would rather spend more money on a trusted service, than use a newer, riskier option, so that I build a good reputation with customers 🌞 usually, if something is cheaper, it is cheaper for a reason: either less features, or less quality. If Gelato have a lot of features, then the truth is, it's probably quality that is cut.

Hey Sarah! In setting up my own store using your techniques and your clubhouse as a guide, I’m confused about how to make a profit with stickers. On Printful, they ship separately from other items, costing $3.50 USD to ship plus about $2 to print. Does that mean I have to sell 1 sticker for $6 just to make 50 cents in profit?

Yes, that’s exactly what it means. You have to increase the perceived value of the item to get customers excited so they’ll willfully pay. You do that by building community around what’s printed on the piece so there’s an emotion attached, and opting for the larger stickers because they are perceived as more expensive anyways, which they are. People buy overpriced junk at Disney World all the time because they care about the brand. Don’t be surprised.

No, you don't have to sell a sticker for $6 :) you can still sell them for $3-4. As your store sells more items, you'll be eligible for product discounts, and so that is why some stores can sell them for $3, and others $4. If you're listing products that are very low-cost, then adding in a paid shipping option, rather than just offering a flat-rate free shipping is a good idea. You can still offer free shipping for more expensive products if you like, but you can set up a paid shipping option for $4-5 to cover the purchase of any 1-off stickers, should a customer choose to buy them. So a customer buys the sticker, and pays for shipping. In my experience, customers normally like to buy stickers in multiples. Each additional sticker costs 5 cents to ship, so once you hit 3+ stickers per order, the profits start adding up quick 🌞
