Super cool Tiffany. I love scribbling a rainbow of crayons on watercolor paper, spray with water and then rub my finger back and forth starting at the top and going all the way to the bottom for a super smooth rainbow effect.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to collect for years before using them.

I hardly use my distress crayons, and was thinking about selling them. I decided to come here first, and I'm so very glad I did! Thanks for saving me from something I would have deeply regretted!

One thing I have tried with the crayons is take one of Dina Wakley's faces on collage paper and add it to a cheapo canvas from Michael's with collage medium. Then I colored it in with the crayons. I didn't get the collage paper on as smooth as I wanted, but it turned out to be a good thing, because the crayon took to the different textured spots differently and I liked that.

Twisted Citron is my favourite colour in the Tim Holtz line. I really struggle using the crayons so I’ll have to give these a go

Man I struggled in the beginning too. SO I re-watched Tim's video on them to KNOW the basics. THEN I promised my art I would PRACTICE. I over-watered, made mud color, used too much collage medium when treating a surface first to have crayons take better.... then one day about a week later I was mastering them and they are in my top 3 fav mediums! I so related reading your comment. KNOW the basics, then commit to PRACTICE= my top secret formula to mastering lol.

I love to watch all the background techniques but I want to see more cards ideas with the backgrounds! Please ❤️

What is collage medium? I've been doing colleges for yea4s and I never heard of that. Maybe I know it by a different name?

I love the coloring on the stamps! That will be great for my Christmas stamps. I hate taping them off for different colors. This rocks! Tyfs. P.s. can't wait for the class

Have you tried them on foam stamps? Love doing this and you get a nice watercolor effect.

I have. They work great. I have a video from a couple years ago.

I am absolutely new to paper crafts, inks, stamps ect. When you say resist, can you explain what you mean.

Hey.... welcome to paper crafts. The crayons are wax base so the will resist the water base spray. The crayons don't react to the spray either. So they won't mix together. I hope that helps.

@@Tiffany.Solorio yes it does. I’ve been collecting inks, sprays, crayons, and finally have an area set up to play in. I don’t have furniture I have work space.

I would like to take your class but I don’t do classes on Sabbath. Do u plan on having it at a later different day? Or maybe I can pay & have access to view /take class afterwards?

Have had that same set of crayons for YEARS and have never learned how to use them. I have some ideas now. I tried to sign up for the class but keep getting asked for a password and I don't have a password! (well, I have about 100, but don't know which one this is asking for!) HELP! Also, the link to get the supply list doesn't work for me.
