Can you do a best brandy's for beginner's to try out the spirit without killing the wallet?

Yup. Basically I want to go through all the categories first before i judge that. Cos at the moment, I haven’t tried Spanish, Greek, US, most UK etc etc. I have a sneaky feeling that as far as Brandy goes, Spanish maybe a good shout. But until I progress further, it’d just be me saying gut feelings as opposed to tastings. I did do 2x Remy videos though. Comparing Remy Brandy to Remy Cognac. So that might help in the meantime.

Seven Tails, the one in the video is widely regarded as the worlds best brandy and I think it’s about £35

Carrot brandy sounds WILD! I would love to try it some day

I probably didn't appreciate it in all its glory back then, but now I'd LOVE to try it again!

I don't know, but I imagine not all distilled fruit is brandy. One big caveat would probably be alcohol content. The first time I ever tried moonshine was here in Georgia. The maker called it "Peach Squeezins" made from the culls of the famous georgia peach orchards. Not sure as to its age, but it had just a slight hint of peach flavor, not a lot, but then it was about 160 proof. Not an expert, but not what I would concider a brandy.... was pretty good though😊

Brandy is the generic term for all things dtilled from Fruit. That is the top end category. Like Rum is all things distilled from Sugar Cane. Where Fruit Brandy comes in is "Eau de Vie"...and Eau de Vie is basically all fruit Brandy that is NOT distilled from Grapes. So if you distilled a Grape, its Brandy. If you distill a Peach, its a Eau de Vie...which is a category of Brandy. Hope that helps.
