Affiliate marketing is confusing and almost not believable when people tell me they make lots of money. I ask how, what and where. They never respond. I preferred Kittl to Canva myself. No longer making tshirt designs though.

I felt that way too when I first heard about it! It definitely takes effort up front to promote the products you want to recommend but if done right, will build over time and can become a considerable income. All about how much you build it out :) I love both Kittl and Canva for different reasons!

Honestly, I have watched videos for years about all the income streams and I am still broke. I sold online some, I tried tshirt sales a bit, I am trying to sell my artwork, I want to maybe learn bookkeeping but I have watched more subjects and more videos than most and I am still very much struggling financially.

Sorry to hear that friend. As far as affiliate marketing, you really are as profitable as your community is engaged. Doesn’t have to be big, necessarily, but it must be engaged. We are living proof as we have had success using and selling a with/on a multitude of platforms like Etsy, Canva, and now KZread and Kajabi. Hoping things get better and you find a way to make money. These videos are short and meant for inspiration but much hard work and a lot of trial and error comes as a result of them. Not everyone can do it consistently. And the market and tools change so rapidly that you always have to be ready to pivot. But it definitely is profitable for those who can do it.

Most do have minimum requirements. KZread requires you to have 1,000 subs and 4,000 watch hours to be eligible. This is totally doable with the right tactics in place!

Can’t you always put link trees leading back to your products on your social media pages? That’s separate from getting paid on number of followers? Idk - I’m asking. I’m about to watch the video so maybe I’ve taken your comment out of context. But I think social media outlets can still be in the mix from day one via your links. Also look up videos about posting viral content on your pages but absolutely giving credit to the original poster of the content. If it hits viral once it can happen again is what they say. This builds followers more quickly to get to the thresholds. Also I’ve seen it advised to follow many people with similar content. Those people could often follow you back. Spend some time each day doing that and it could help build followers as well. I haven’t tried any of this but I’ve seen many videos about this type of online marketing and there are certain strategies can get repeated across different channels so they must be working for somebody I guess. 😂😂. The CPM will vary widely based upon how much advertisers are willing to pay to get ads to your audience. Factors such as topics, location, time of year, and other demographics play a role.
