I believe in the name of Jesus. You might translate, not just "Jesus" but also "I believe in the name". Jisu to some, Yesu to some, Yesuye to some according to different regions of the world may be His name is different but all referring to the same who died on the cross for us, The Son Of God. And His name is powerful. Where they prayed using their preferred language name...demons still flees and sicks gets well. Let's not argue the name and let people have their simple faith.

*Exodus 3:13-15* 13 Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, *‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’* and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?” 14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am." This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” 15 God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘ *The Lord, the God of your fathers* - *the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob* -has sent me to you.’ “This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation."

*Romans 8* 14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[f] And by him we cry, “Abba,[g] Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

@Kevin Belgrove I can't help but respond. Proverbs 26:4-5, Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him yourself. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes. The self-confident fool thinks too highly of himself and his opinions, and he shares them freely. You say, "Only a person who has accepted and strictly follows the teachings of Yahushua Ha'Mashiach are the true Yahudiym. As for me I am a true Yahudi". You sound just like a Pharisee, those that Yahushua apposed. You say, "My bloodline is in Yahushua who died and who lives in me". No, your bloodline is of Adam, born into a sinful nature. You say, "Unless a person is a Yahudi they cannot be saved". No, "For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast".… i.e. Kevin Belgrove. Ephesians 2:8,9. You say, "A true Yahudi who is saved is filled with the Ruach Ha'Qodesh not the fake greek version the Holy Ghost. Not everyone speaks your language "Kevin". If Ruach Ha'Qodesh means Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost or whatever He is called in other languages, why do we need to speak yours? Must the believers in Mexico, China, Spain, Sweden, Greece, Holland, etc. say they are filled with Ruach Ha'Qodesh?! Must all of the believers around the world speak your language? They believe in the God of the Bible (wait, should I not be allowed to use the word, "bible"? Or should I say Sepharim?) See how ridiculous I sound? I live in America and speak English, although I was born and raised during my childhood in Europe. I don't know if you read or believe in God's / Yahuah's word, the bible, or you believe in the Torah. Read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, or "Yahuchanon" as you call it. Study the Pharisees. Listen to how Yahushua interacts with them. You will see your reflection in them, your bloodline, your arrogance. Just like them, you make it difficult for people to enter the kingdom of heaven. You strain at a gnat, yet you swallow a camel. Humble yourself before God before He humbles you. You say. "Only a person who has accepted and strictly follows the teachings of Yahushua Ha'Mashiach are the true Yahudiym". Sounds like you will make it into heaven because of your works, your efforts, and your strict rules. All I can say is "good luck with that", because at this point all you have is luck on your side. P.s. Please don't answer with a lengthy history lesson on how the original text was and how words were taken out and replaced. I had two Mormons Elders (in their early twenties) come to my house one time, trying to preach a different gospel (just like what you're doing). They said that the bible (that they were carrying btw) was only true if it was accurately written. That over many centuries it has lost a lot of the original text (same song you are singing) so Joseph Smith created his own bible, the book of Mormon. They said, that the original text in the bible said that you have to be at least 8 years old in order to be baptized but it's no longer there. I said, how do you know it was in there if it was lost in the first place? They ended up leaving because they were confused. Satan is the father of confusion. The gospel is as simple that a child can understand. The yoke you put on people is not of my Heavenly Father, As you say it, "these are all the inventions of Satan".

@Kevin Belgrove I call on the name Yeshua and He heales. Here I am, a walking miracle after the doctors gave up and wrote me off 35 years ago. I have seen the deaf healed many times and I have seen legs grow by the authority of Yeshua. I know of ignorant people praying for miracles and Yeshua honoured their prayer. Because it is not the perfection in which we pronounce a name, but the pureness of heart that Yeshua honours. I can't forget the person who heared about anointing the sick with oil. He prayed for the healing of a lady with cancer and he said that he needed oil to anoint the lady as the scripture says to anoint the sick with oil. He came back with a gallon of dirty, black motor oil. And instead of just dipping his finger and placing a speck of oil on her forehead, he emptied all the oil over her head, and desroyed her white dress. Many of the people left in disgust. The next day the lady returned and she was completely healed from the cancer. Yes, he was ignorant and you can say that he did not have a clue what he was doing, but Yeshua saw his heart and his obedience to God's written word, and Yeshua answered his prayer. Yeshua answers prayer of an availabe person with a pure heart. None of us are professionals. Only Yeshua is a professional. What has the gospel taught you about results? How much does Yeshua have of you, which He can put to use? Are you a vessel used by Him? It does not help using interesting sounding names if Yeshua does not use you. How much of you has He used?

@Mitzi Rascal That’s confusing because according to scriptures the MessiYAH is Hebrew. According to scriptures God is the God of Israel. And scripture say he won’t forget his people, his people Meaning the children of Israel. If Jesus is Hebrew and his name is Yahusha why change the name to Jesus and not Joshua? If my name is Maria and I move to America my name won’t be Mary I still will be call Maria. It’s the name for me why change the name and then give us a false picture of him. Now I’m wondering what else is false in the scriptures. I will forever live my life as God/YAHUAH and his Indwelling Ruach/Holy Spirit leads me.

@@eduardohoover2127 Hmmm, very interesting -- especially in light of Jesus "giving" his mother to John. (Maybe the "care" Jesus meant was more "spiritual" than "physical" care? Also, we should keep in mind that Jesus' family actually worried after Jesus' _sanity!_ Many didn't believe till _after_ he rose from the dead ... so may that's the reason Jesus "gave" Mary to John?) Anyway, thanks for the info and the comment, Eduardo! Peace to you, brother.

Great Video! Something to note, the Sanhedrin had 70 members mostly Pharasees, but the 70 did not meet in a normal court of law to convict Jesus. The group who illegally put Him on trial were mainly Sadducees such as Ciaphas ans Annas and others who met at night and even had contradictory witnesses. The mock trial had several violations which any one of them would have had the case dismissed. Had the full Sanhidrin met, they would have debated and probably not convicted Jesus because you would have had Nicodemus, Joseph of Aramethia and others defending Jesus. For more info see Torah Club Study: Jesus my Rabbi Vol. 2 lessons 40-43 published by First Fruits of Zion. Also see Chronicles of the Messiah Book 5.

Jesus died when He was 33 so I don’t understand the old man with the gray beard. Also, the Shroud gives us a good idea. He was 5’11”, 175 pounds, long hair, shortish beard. I think the historic paintings of Jesus were divinely inspired and are pretty close. The first image, in my opinion, is closer to an accurate depiction. That shows a tall thin man around the age of 33 and a beard. Regarding the Tefillin, Jesus criticizes the Pharisees for wearing them in Matthew 23:5. And there is no record of Jesus wearing them. Jesus also said to pray in private, to go into your room and shut the door. Matthew 6:5-6. That would make wearing the Tefillin the opposite of what he is preaching.

This was a VERY good presentation. All this should have been presented all Christendom centuries ago, and carried on to this day. The study of these Jewish traditions (of pre-Christian Jewish practices) should be part of all Christian studies. That said, Mary going along with Jesus' other relatives (who were startled or upset by His stepping forward as a teacher) does not necessarily indicate Mary, too, was opposing Jesus publically teaching. It is just as possible she was brought along by them as the only family member whom they thought could and would get him to be silenced. This does not mean she felt the same way as those relatives, or "backed their play," if you will.

Reading all these comments is very sad. I agree with you, I don't think Jesus looked like what the Renaissance painting portrayed him as. Pale, blue eyed, frail and unhappy. I think He was olive skinned as other people of this country would be, dark eyes, not frail at all as his occupation was pretty physical and I think Jesus was very happy, joyful and full of life. I think He would have worn His tallit and pretty sure anything else His Hebrew teaching had at that time. I don't think He rehearsed the sermon though. In Matthew it says Jesus saw the crowds gathering and He went up on the mountainside and sat down and began to teach them. Perhaps they were questioning Him. But I feel it was spontaneous. I don't agree with everything The Chosen has portrayed about Him. Although I feel their Jesus is pretty close to the real one. Thank you for your teachings! I appreciate all you do!

Yes, He became fully human but He was Still fully God at the same time. Even in one of the Gospels, Jesus at 12 years old knew that He came to fulfill the Father’s will. He knew that even before He came to earth because He is God. Yes, when He became man on this earth, He felt pain and agony physically, but He never stopped being God.

With all respect to the Son: He was born a baby His mum and Josef had to feed Him, clean his bum, learned him to talk, walk, etc. As a Jew his mother and father had to send him to learn scripture, his first teaching was only at 12 in the temple. His mother and father obviously knew He was special, but His teachings only started after he was babtized as a 30 year old man and only then the Holy Spirit came down on Him like a dove. And only then He started His mission to heal the sick, preach the truth, etc. He was tempted by the devil, He cried, He got angry, thirsty, etc. but He never sinned as his seed was not from Adam (who sinned) but from God Himself.

I think ONE reason for the lack of a visual description of Jesus in the Bible is that we can picture him in our minds as a reflection of the qualities we associate with him. The fact that we Europeans (may) imagine him to be more like us also has something to do with the fact that this appearance is more familiar to us and therefore generates both familiarity and trust. if it had mattered to God that we "see" him for what he actually looked like, he SURELY would have provided a description.

Well I truly enjoyed this. And thanks a lot. It didn't really change how I see or have seen Jesus that much. It only pointed out more reason why he was different from others and more light to some questions I had about him. Now I see why he is actually seen as the true son of God. He was truly different. I'm certain he didn't have old looking face at 33 though and we are part of his extended family since he said in that same scripture that whoever obeys him is his brother and sister and mother,if you like. but yet your research has helped clear doubts in my mind. Jesus is truly the son of God. A carpenter, master of all laws, moderate in character, progressive with the law, wise and obedient and with teachings that is changing the whole world no Rabbi could've done likewise or had the authority he had. Even though he clearly came as human he stood out amongst all Rabbi, teachers and so on, I always asked, why? . The true nature of our lord and saviour. Hope you've accepted him today as your lord and saviour folks. Tomorrow might be too late.

You know many artists have portrayed Jesus of Nazareth as they imagined him to look. However, it doesn't make them wrong because some have made Jesus more real by their inspired artistic portraits. Warner Solman's is just one example. It is a wonderful portrait that has inspired many people to see the beauty of the divinity and humanity of Jesus. That's enough for me. Why does what one might receive spiritual blessing from have to be explained away by multiplying words and quenching the presence of the Holy Spirit in art? After all none of us really were there when Jesus walked the roads of the occupied people who suffered under the Romans and their political and religious allies.

Painters of the past (and even present) often paint Jesus as someone of their own culture -- so we get a lot of white, European-looking Jesus portraits. But he was a Jewish man of the 1st Century AD, and likely didn't look anything like our European-ized pictures. I think it's important -- massively important -- we recognize his Jewishness, the fact that he was Middle-eastern. But if a certain representation brings someone peace and makes them feel closer to Him, then I don't think it's "wrong" in that sense. Ethnically inaccurate, perhaps.

About the book you mentioned, at least the father admitted that it was all made up b/c he was struggling financially. He's about the only one though who has admitted it. Whenever you hear stories like that, compare them to Scriptures. Isaiah absolutely DID go to heaven temporarily and as he fell to his face crying "woe is me!!! I am a man of unclean lips and live among a people of unclean lips!!! The Apostle Paul also went up to heaven and said that he heard words and expressions that men were not permitted to tell. The Scriptures also say that God lives in "unapproachable light." If you pay attention from one story to the next, they pretty much all say the same thing and they make the Lord look FAR too casual. They all seem to see the same people. One guy has changed his story a number of times. I just heard one story where the woman said that haven was a kind of "candyland!!!" Unreal!!! They ALL (except for the Apostle Paul) minimize Christ and the Father and emphasize famous people. Another woman said that she just saw Jesus as "a glow in the background." That does NOT sound like "unapproachable light" to me.

Every single one of those minimize Christ and they're all about "saints" or dead relatives that they meet. Unfortunately, it's a huge money maker now. :( When Christ Himself is minimized, you can be sure that it is fake. One woman said that Christ was just a glow in the background!!! And if this is the case, why then do most pastors/preachers talk about this moment and on how the Father abandoned Jesus and turned His back on Him on the cross because of the sin? I hope these words help [and don't cause a fuss] Our Lord and Redeemer is the Word made flesh [HalleluJah] I believe His utterance of Psalm 22 fulfilled it's prophesy. That is to say, I don't believe it was a 'quote', per se .. Our Father hates sin and I believe Jesus lived those words whilst hanging, crucified, as "a worm, despised". What a gift for all [of us] sinners seeking forgiveness! To know Psalm 22 is for real and to have the freedom to repent from there [HalleluJah] Our freedom, perfectly purchased and gracefully given to those who would believe. As sinners, our lives are as lies and separate from the Most High. As the Truth, Our Lord's death [and resurrection] purchased all lies for all time, once and for all. Those who truly believe are restored [by Grace] to the promise of eternal Life; The Way, the Truth and the Life .. Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done [HalleluJah] Jah Bless :)

Yeshua’s quotation of Psalm 22 from the cross, is part of His fulfillment of Isaiah 53 and the completion of what John the Baptist spoke regarding Him, “Behold the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world.” The Father has laid all of our collective sin/iniquity on Him, and in that moment Yeshua becomes the object of God’s judgement on all sin … death by crucifixion is part of God’s judgement of sin (& disease), but also there’s an unseen punishment - abandonment by God - albeit temporary but completely terrifying none the less, especially for the One who has always been in fellowship with the other Two (Father & Holy Spirit), and never experienced anything like real abandonment by God. “Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted [ironically the crowd hears Him quote Psalm 22 & thinks Yeshua is being judged by God for His own sins including blasphemy - they literally have no idea it’s our sins & diseases & punishment that He’s bearing]. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. By oppression and judgment he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? ... Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days [an allusion to resurrection], and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand. After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied [another allusion to resurrection]; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. … For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.” ‭‭excerpts from Isaiah‬ ‭53:3-8, 10-12‬ ‭NIV‬‬

There’s a weird way that the Father seems satisfied with people (esp at the foot of the cross) being so wrong about Yeshua. He honors the dignity He has given them (in creation of Free Will) by letting them persist in the error of their opinion about Yeshua. He knows that Yeshua quoting Psalm 22 is going to be interpreted by that crowd as confirming their (low) opinion of Him (which is also referenced in Isaiah 53 BTW). There’s a sense where they are right (He’s suffering for sin alright), but they’re wrong and have been wrong all along about the “whose sin” and the “why” (He really is sinless & it’s our sin that He’s bearing - out of love, just like Isaiah said).

At about 13:00 you mentioned His "cloak" or Talit (it's actually pronounced Taleet) and is also known as a "Prayer Shawl." Jewish men then as now, would and still do pull this Talit up over their head while in prayer. The Talit has 4 tassles on them and the one in front has a single blue thread in it to represent God. This is the tassle that the woman would have grabbed. The "Tephilim" (again "Tephileem") is now called Phylacteries. They're small black boxes w/a copy of the Law inside of them or at least the 10 Commandments part of the Law. They wore one over their forehead and one on (I think) the right arm which is why it is referred to in the plural. Did you also know that a tiny bit of wine was mixed into the water to kill bacteria? They didn't have purified water then like we do now.

Not all men would wear these, but those who were of certain sects of the Jews. While the Jews developed these customs of "wearing" the scripture, it is clear that it is never a commandment but that of a symbolic nature in that the Word of God was to be within our minds (forehead), put into action (upon our hands). Again, I do appreciate what you have shared.

How do you get to hell? Very simple: claim that you're innocent. How do you get to heaven? Very simple: Admit that you're not Innocent, you're guilty and ask for mercy. How to know if you're guilty or not? Simply: Compare your life to the Ten Commandments God gave you in the Bible. Everyone agrees that if people followed the ten commandments there would be no need for governments or police. Do not lie. Do not steal. Do not commit adultery. Do not insult God by using his name as a cuss word. There are six more but let's just leave it at that. How many lies have you told in your life? Have you ever taken anything that didn't belong to you? Jesus said, if you look at a women lustfully you've already committed adultery in your heart with that woman. How many times a day do you do that? Do you use God's name as a cuss word? Would you do that with your own mother's name? If you answer these questions honestly you know that you're guilty. God can justly punish you and send you to hell. Ask him for mercy. His name is Jesus. It's as simple as this, The Ten Commandments are called the moral law. You and I broke God's laws. Jesus paid the fine. The fine is death. Ezekiel 18:20 - "The soul who sins shall die. That's why Jesus had to die on the cross for our sins. This is why God is able to give us Mercy. Option A. You die for your own sins. Option B. Ask for mercy and accept that Jesus died on the cross for you.

He would have had shorter hair in what's called a Herodian style, though probably didn't cut the Payos, or sidelocks. I think aging and ugliness is a result of sin nature. Jesus never had sinned. He was probably very attractive up to the time he was beaten so bad people wouldn't want to look upon him.

Actually. Jesus was born in 4bce at the earliest or 7bce at the latest. He started his ministry at age 30. If born in 4bce, he would have been 37. If born in 7bce, he would have been 40 when he died. That is more scripture based than having him die at age 33. It’s obvious that he had quite a following.

Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not [d]imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:17-19 Christ is risen and we should see Him and ourselves as such. ✝️🙏🏼📖

Jesus mind wasn't like our minds at all and as Isaiah 55:8 declares was nothing like anything you could imagine nor even comprehend. To this teaching I totally disagree with you. This is the very Christ Jesus warned about in Matthew 24 to stay far away from. This I will not nor will.not agree even to disagree. Jesus knew the word since Jesus was and wrote the word itself. Jesus breathed RUAH upon his disciples to know the word and breathed upon them the Holy Spirit. Honestly this is taught in new age teachings which I departed from this unitarian beliefs yrs ago.
