Tip. Don’t use olive oil for high heat searing, it has a lower smoking point than veg oil and will taste burnt and bitter

My new TM6 comes tomorrow (I'm American, and this is a newer thing here), and you have made the decision for me as what is going to be my first meal in there! Love your channel and subscribed today. Thanks Richie!

Thanks for making this video! I’ve had my thermomix for a while now and love it but I’ve always wondered what the sous vide function was. This looks absolutely amazing!! I was going to make something else for dinner but now I’m dying to try some of this juicy steak! I’m keen to check out your other thermo mix recipes now!

Tip, don’t push meat around in pan when sticking. When it is cooked it will slide off.

Hi Richie, loving your channel here in Australia! I’ve been watching all your Thermomix vids and they’re so informative. My TM6 arrives next week so I’m dead excited to try out the Sous vide steak. QQ if I wanted to make the mash in the thermy as well for a meal would it be best to cook the steak first and put in a thermoserver to keep warm or mash first and possibly reheat? I like the idea of preparing a whole meal with the thermy - any advice would be great 👍🏻

Thanks for the vids. You basically sold me on the TM6. Would be cool to see some caribean recipes that would make it easier for me to sell it to my wife too ;-)

Okay this looks banging👌 A friend has a thermomix but for sous vide, and other functions doesn't seem worth it as the capacity seems rather small. Lovely steak.
