Thermaltake BlacX Series USB 3.0 Dual HDD HDD Dock [2018 Review]

The Thermaltake BlacX Duet 2.5"/3.5" SATA I/II/III USB 3.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure Docking Station ST0014U-C is a useful device in theory and seems well built, but just simply didn't work as reliably as I would expect from a Thermaltake Device. It's possible I just had a bad unit, but after corrupting a brand new 1TB WD HDD, I don't feel like pushing my luck any further with this device.

Very useful video. Just purchased one to clone a hard drive. But cannot risk losing its data. May not use it now.

I just ordered the sabrent model with offline cloning. Will post a review of it in a week or so. Many Hard Drives don't fit in it, both small and large drives.
How to use it?

It should be a great fast way to transfer data to and from hdd's to Amy is 3.0 computer at up to 6gb/s. Unfortunately this one failed to perform and was returned.

I bought an older one and it does not work under windows 10. Any advice on that? You could see it under device manager but nowhere else.
