Thermal Imaging Application and Operation - How they work!
If you’ve ever seen photos or videos where the images are made up of shades of red and yellow, that’s called thermography-more colloquially known as thermal imaging. Infrared thermography is the art of transforming infrared image into a radiometric one which allows the temperature values to be red from the image.
Thermal imaging is used in all sorts of different scenarios-utility and energy companies use it to see where a house might be losing heat through door and window cracks. Police helicopters use it to locate suspects at night. Weather stations use it to track storms and hurricanes. It’s used in the medical field to diagnose different disorders and diseases. And some home security cameras, like the ring doorbell use it too.
In recent times it is commonly used at airports to scan passengers who may have elevated temperatures as they walk through the airport.
This video details how thermal imaging work and some common applications

Well explained! Thank you!
Superb high quality Intellectual content on key concepts underlying thermal imaging techniques of optical sensing in real time spaced Environments.
Thank you. Was excellent
Thank god i clicked on this its exactly what I was looking for 🤠
Great video information 👍❤ thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience 🇵🇭🙂
sir best video ..respect for you sir!
Good explanation
Excellent info! Thanks a lot. Can you explain in detail how a lepton sensor in a flir camera works?

Beautiful video but no views sadly
mentions NVG but shows VR Headset
🙏👍💐
could we scan this for Jinns (ghosts) ?
HVAC use.
Good video but the music is terrible.

Id say music is really good, just not for this video.
This isn’t exactly accurate
5:30 i detest your omission of the term "wavelength" during your explanation of temperature-wavelength correlation. boo.
