you are a god damn genius...... I watched a lot of videos of this and could never get the gasinserts to fill the cartridges - nothing worked. But now I found your video and you did something new: you put a cut in the insert :-) :-) and it works ;-) ;-) You are a genius!!!! Thx a lot.

I CANNOT find a tip that will allow me to refill my cartridges! I’ve purchased about 3 different cans of butane, one of them came with multiple tips, and I still can’t figure it out. Some guidance would be appreciated on where to find the correct tip. I have the butane and I’ve removed all the inside pieces.

Oh, and one of the tips has a cut in it already so I’m assuming I should try that one? Just need to find tiny o-rings, I guess.

Great video! Just one technical point. You can’t relieve the pressure of a liquified gas bottle. The reason is due to the relationship between pressure and temperature. So at any given temperature, the pressure above the liquified gas will be fixed, remaining constant until there is no more lucid phase remaining. Just an FYI on that point. Tnx. Doug

Just struck me… there is a way of accomplishing your goal, while respecting basic gas laws… just cool down the receiving vessel and wam up the source! That actually will lower the pressure and increase the pressure gradient between the two tanks. Again, great job on your video!

gloves? honestly? my 17 y/o does this and he doesn't make a song and dance about it.
