Amazing how scandinavian bands took metal to the next level and I think last stage of perfection. Bands like The 3rd and the Mortal, Theatre of Tragedy, Therion, Tiamat, Tristania, Pagan's Mind, Decoryah, The Sins of thy Beloved and some dutch bands as well like Epica, The Gathering and Within Temptation, all of these bands releasing at least 1 perfect album through out their career, they epitomise some of the best, not just metal but, music in the last 20 years. I'm grateful to them for their existance as they have created a better world for me to live in.

I think that therion is like a gallery all their music are pieces of art. Johansson is truly visionary of the sound of a new world in metal music.

I personally like the Secret of the Runes more, but this one is a masterpiece in it's own right! I can understand why it would be someone's favorite. Brought me to tears on some parts. The secret of the Runes feels like a trip to Valhalla - grand and otherworldly, this album is like delving deep into a mind of an alchemist - spooky but still mesmerizing.

Este fue el mejor album que tuvo Therion .. con la mejor cantante que tuvo en toda su historia con Martina Astner y Sarah Jezebel Deva dos diosas cantando es una obra maestra este album .... y Martina la mejor cantante de todas las que tuvo Therion

That's the first album I ever bought - I got it for my 13th birthday. Today is my 30th birthday and I still get the same chills when I hear the strings in the very very beginning of Rise Of Sodom...

I just gotta continue saying how much I love these guys. Someone below commented how Mozart & Beethoven are dancing in Heaven to this... & I think it’s absolutely so!

2021, this is my first encounter with Therion. Absolutely love the music, the voice the everythibg without realising this was 1998. No doubt, 90s is the best era for these genre. Epica gahtering, lacuna and beyond. More melodic, calm and a lot of feeling

It is hard to point one, but this one is pure gold. My fav one is Lemuria. Mats Levén is a freaking monster !!!!!!

Maldita gran banda...los escucho desde sus inicios oscuros y más bizarros...es imposible detener un disco ...su musica te lleva de la mano hasta el final....habemos muchos que extrañamos su onda del of Darkness del año 91 el Beyond Sanctorum del 92...y cuando llegó el Symphony Masses ...ya se vio para donde iría su nueva onda...son geniales...aunque muchos renegaron a raíz de lo sinfónico...son grandes...

Ja wa😊 ich hör Cradle of FILTH🙈und war seid ich 14 bin großer Lacrimosa Fan dann kam Therion und man kann sich so richtig drin verlieren und diese Melodien, uuuhh herrlich. Jeder ist selbst dran Schuld wenn er diese sehr coole, schmofte Mukke nicht hört vorallem ist da der Metall🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽nochmal ganz anders eingebunden und ich verstehs überhaut nicht das man diese Art von Musik nicht gerne Mag. Aber über Geschmack lässt sich streiten sagt der Affe und beist in die Seife😂🤣😂Bei mir kommste mit Schlager gar nicht weit...Drums und ne richtig geile E-Gitarre da geht nüscht drüber😍Einfach nur Herrlich!!!

Recuerdo a finales de los 90,este disco marco un cambio en mi rumbo musical. Yo era mas heavy y power,pero therion con vovin me voló la cabeza. Una obra de arte. Excelente. Ningun disco anterior o posterior lo superó

@@alewar92 el album Gothic Kabbalah es muy bueno, con un sonido impecable. Es excelente. Aunque prefiero vovin pues es mas orquestal, con la totalidad de sus canciones cantadas por soprano o tenor ,excepto una. Y eso para mi hizo a ese disco unico en aquellos años. No habia nada parecido. Lo mismo me paso con el disco symphony of enchanted lands de rhapsody y oceanborn de nightwish. Muy lindos recuerdos de esos años gracias a esa musica

Este disco lo escucho a ojos cerrados. Me produce un vértigo increíblemente adictivo.

Este fue el primer disco que escuché de Therion el año 2004 cuando los conocí.. Desde ahí me ha acompañado toda la vida.. Sin duda sus canciones son una obra de arte, bálsamo y placer para el alma.. Gracias Therion por existir

I found this album on CD at a music record shop called Metal Era when I was a young teenager and listening to it more than 20 years later on this platform feels like such a privilege. I am really enjoying and has helped me re-discover a part of myself, as well as being able to admire Symphonic Rock & Metal at one of its finest. Thank you so much!

Therion es un supergrupo del metal sinfónico y gótico. Tengo bastante música de ellos. Vovín es excelente.

Obra maestra, respeto por el arte, lo que se ha perdido en la música actual con toda la basura que suena en los medios hoy...

que recuerdos Dios Mío...hace más de veinte años que no escuchaba este album 😢

El sonido de esta banda es excepcional, única. Me asombra su armonía, sus interpretaciones me hacen vibrar, me siento vivo, sus Sopranos y mezozopranos tienen una voz hermosa que hacen de la música de Theron lo más hermoso del mundo.

La musica de ellos es increible 🎻

Therion is, IMHO, one of the 3 best bands ever. I have everything they have put on CD. I saw them in Miskolc and had a beer with them in a small bar. Amazing.

The first time i hear it, and i'm impressed with the quality of every aspect, from the mastering and mix to the artistic aspects. I hear nothing like this in today music.

Listen to Karl Sanders for example. New music but still very creative. Spectral Lore is also very good ( Their song "averroes' search" is one of my favs from this artist)

Devin Townsend is alright, I prefer his latest album over the older ones though. Also, try Haggard, they tend to be a little more raspy overall but are still good orchestral-metal. If you really don't mind going down the metal rabbit hole, try Be'lakor, Septic Flesh, Rotting Christ, Insomnium, and I dunno, maybe Caladan Brood and Emyn Muil. If you want something closer to Townsend than any of those, try Pinback. Rob Crow (the guy behind Pinback) also did a few songs for his side group called "Goblin Cock" which you can also try for a more metal sound.

Everything is simply perfection about Therion.

Beautiful. I absolutely love this band! The mix of metal and opera is so smooth and the music so moving it transports the listener to new realms. I agree with you Flip Flop, Mozart and others are grooving to the beat in the world beyond.

One of the greatest albums of all time! Wish Beloved Antichrist was musically as good as this and it would be perfect

I listened to this incessantly in my late teens and early 20s. Absolutely fantastic. Perfect sweet-spot between metal and classical. I saw them live in Toronto in 2005. Great show in a small venue.

Sin duda alguna el Vovin es el mejor album de Therion, todas las canciones son geniales, y los violines son alucinantes, realmente (a master piece)

Del Therion sinfónico, este material es el mejor; excelente por decir poco

На мой вкус - это самый шикарный альбом. Так всё согласованно и подобранно. Бэк вокал вообще шикарный. Солистки - выше всяких похвал.

Мартина лучшая их вокалистка за всю историю группы! Это именно с ней был записан этот альбом. Ещё Катарина Лилья хорошо пела в Therion.

Que hermoso disco, Excelente Clavícula Nox es impresionante me llega a full, me da cierta tristeza pero a la vez es una OBRA MAESTRA, TERRIBLE DISCO!!!
