@@EliuCR1 well lots of people dislike beloved antichrist, but i can say that for me the only problem with it was the fact that album is very long(its not even an album it's an Opera) and repetetive. I took some songs from it to my playlist and now listen to them often. However listening to the whole album one more time is not something i want to do.

How will I sleep now? I loved daydreaming while listening to Therion, sometimes deep into the night (if I cannot find time otherwise). And this sounds so familiar and warm, yet new and wonderful. It really takes my worries and anxieties away.

@@betodeth A mi no se me hizo tan malo el Fleur du Mal", pero sí mucho menor la calidad que su época de esplendor. No se me hace malo que regresen a lo que hacían hace mucho tiempo, tomando en cuenta el gran estancamiento, en general, del género del metal sinfónico.

It’s really good, Therion one of the best bands in the world. The sound of every track is unique.

@@SunOfTheSun If you say so. Therion for the last 30 years has been nothing but a Chris solo vehicle that has turned the band into a theatrical laughing stock. I was there at the beginning in the early 90's and it is one thing to change the sound a little over time but this is a completely different band altogether. He should have changed the band name because everything done since Theli is a disgrace to the early classics. 95 to the present day will never have a space on my collection shelf.

Pretty safe song by Therion's standards. Sounds like a leftover from Lemuria/Sirius B. Still, way better than anything from Beloved Antichrist ahah looking forward to it. Been a Therion fan since Symphony Masses.

I had the same impression about Lemuria/Sirius B type of sound. It's not the best Therion sound if you ask me, but still I long for new album as for 2021.

They did mention it will be a 'best of' album taking cues from the most popular songs and records from their discography, so I think the direction is pretty spot-on for this track.

I used to listen to this band like 13 years ago as a teenager just randomly remembered them today , and omg did I miss it , words cannot express how much I love this song.

Sounds like the same pretentious nonsense they've been doing for well over 20 years. Classic therion is 1990-1995, the first death metal albums and they were once one of the best around. Classic this is not, not by a long shot.

It sound as Therion's 2000 I JUST LOVED IT

agreed. Drums on SOTR, Lemuria/Sirius b, and Gothic Kabbalah blew my mind. After that the new drummer wasn't as metal. Now with Snowy Shaw on drums we are back to some amazing drumming.

I like all therion albums but without Kristian Niemann the guitars are not as good. The Niemann era plus Vovin and Theli are a little better than the after Niemann stuff. Though there are other factors- the choirs used aren't as good as Deggial, SOTR, Lemuria/Sirius b choirs. The drummer was good but a little more boring. I mean everyone in therion is good but the Niemann era was amazing people.

However, it's a pity that the band doesn't adapt to modern requirements, such as lower tuning and more progressive sound. We can love the classic sound of Therion, because we are old fans, but the music market has requirements that Therion needs to have in order to compete and earn money from selling albums.

@@AlexDjentelmen Idk, even in the days of Theli the guitars were tuned down to C. Of course they used higher tunings on the subsequent albums but even on Gothic Kabbalah they had some downtuned guitars. Not to mention the odd time signatures of some of the songs on that album, even a bass solo! I also enjoyed the Les Fleurs Du Mal album as well! 😁

Love the vocals, just so epic!! 🤘 🤘 🤘

The thing with Therion lyrics is that Thomas Karlsson always had a lot to say content-wise, but sometimes what he wrote sounded like poetry and sometimes it was more "meh... is this metal lyrics or the script for an ad for Dragon Rouge?" Whereas Per Albinsson always writes words that sound very nice together but it's a matter of luck whether a given sentence actually makes any sense once you start thinking about it. (What's a "night of constellations"? Doesn't every night have constellations? What's "forgotten rain" supposed to be? A reference to how the ocean is partially made of rainwater..? And so on...) I wish that one day Therion will have someone who can do both. Poetic language AND content. And who doesn't have to break the flow of the language (by leaving out words etc.) to match the flow of the song. Because the best lyricists can absolutely do all of this and the music deserves it.

I'm getting some early Sirenia vibes with this song..... Overall a good song, sounds like something from the Lemuria era
