Right? I've worked with every conceivable soul. People from all walks of life. I'm not here to judge anyone about how they managed to cope during trauma nor myself. People - Humanity... have experienced major hardships and PTSD in many forms and situations. God has a way with helping us in our own time... during our darkest day's to manage addictions. The plane in the photograph appears to be a Grumman AA-5 which was a 4 passenger 150 or 160 hp aircraft for VFR flights and was also used as a trainer. Unique among the trainer light aircraft was its sliding canopy which allowed the pilot to slide the canopy back during flight so it was much like flying and old biplane. I flew both the Grumman AA-1 trainer and the Grumman AA-5. When you slid the canopy back while in flight, you had to first ensure that all the papers were secure or they would be sucked out. It was a nice plane to train in and to take passengers for short flights, but it was not good for rough weather or long flights. I also flew the Grumman 112. It was a Cadillac of small planes: retractable gear, variable pitch prop, dual VOR's, an ILS, and much more. The only complaint I had was that it was dog in a crosswind landing when the winds were fairly strong. Full rudder and aileron control wouldn't keep you on the centerline.

Not necessarily. Even so, what does it matter? If something like this gives people peace and comfort, then let them think and believe in whatever they want. Therapy isn't for everyone, you know? Maybe an experience like this is more healing for them than counselling could ever be.

@@SpookMeows13 It matters because it's real. Coming to terms with grief and the knowledge that you will never see your loved one again is extremely difficult, but it's real. • @SpookMeows13

@@janebrown7231 I totally get what you're saying, but again, sometimes therapy doesn't help people. If there are other avenues that a person can take to get comfort from losing a loved one, then I'm happy they found it. I'm pretty sure these people understand that their loved ones are gone, they understand the grief, they understand their loved ones aren't coming back. I really don't think that they're avoiding reality. They are just looking for a way to heal themselves. Whether that's going to a medium or seeing a therapist, they're doing what they feel is right to find comfort and peace. You know the saying, "to each their own"? This is a perfect example. Both therapists and psychiatrists will gladly take money for the exact same reason. They (therapists, psychiatrists, mediums, etc) all are capable of taking advantage of people with a smile on their face and without a second thought. They're all in the same wheelhouse. These are just my opinions. I base my thoughts on shrinks by personal experience. Guess I've not been lucky enough to find one that cares about me more than they do monetary gain. Though, I've never been to a medium. Not my cup of tea. Thank you for the respectful back and forth conversation. Too many people get nasty for no reason and flip out when someone shares a different opinion from theirs.

Jesus is our only strength when we lose a love one not a medium the dead don't talk and there's no way to communicate with them the Bible doesn't lie y'all are going to believe a medium but not in the truth of the word of God . God doesn't lie 🙏 wake up people you can't be that blind
