THEREMIN - And This Is My Beloved
Музыка
This song is from the hit 1953 musical, KISMET, with music adapted from the works of the Russian composer, Alexander Borodin. The story unfolds in old Baghdad, so I put myself in an appropriate fantasy decor! I am playing the 1929 RCA theremin once owned by the late Dr. Samuel Hoffman.

I haven't seen you since the 90's but wow - you are one of the most talented theremin players on the planet. This is great!
I am in awe. If a soul could fly and merge with sheer sound, mine is doing exactly that. The idea of physically manipulating electromagnetic waves with the hands to create music is almost too wonderful to bear. I've ordered the Moog "Theremini" to get myself started. At last I can merge my love of physics with my training in music. Thank you SO much for this astonishing clip.
Beatiful simply beutiful
Are you kidding me! That was fantastic!
Means of "kısmet" (in Turkish and Arabic): 1) Destiny 2) Suitor 3) Chance 4) An interjection which means that it is not certain.
This is amazing... great skill

If ever you wanted to do another song from Kismet, the "Sands of Time," it would be wonderful. Voice ... theremin ... you would surely do something beautiful with it.

The bar at the top makes the pitch of the note and the bar on the side makes the volume of the sound
