Im seriously flabbergastered by Tails' voice and voice actor. Switching voices between normal Tails and SH Tails when Tails gets angry or smth, is a really nice touch on a emotion part.

1:30 The way Tails screamed totally gave the Maniac Tails vibe especially considering how he wants to see Sonic dead just as he wanted it in the other something about season

Man.... Knuckles' one-liners are really nice. Amy: "He's alive" Knuckles: "And boy does he look pissed..."

6:16 Props to Knuckles for leading the team while the voices continue to plague his mind. That must be difficult. Also, same to the voice actor if you're still going through that. Keep on fighting, soldier. Beat those negative thoughts into the ground.

I think this series hit harder after Sonic Frontiers, because at the end the gang realize that they needed to improve themselves by distancing from Sonic, at first I tought it was sad but then I remember this series and realize that could if they become dependent on him, their worst flaws (Tails's need of his friendship, Amy obsession and Knuckles need to prove he's better than him) would only get worse over time and consume their entire character. In order to grow something we need to distant ourselves from others that keep us in their shadow, even if it hurts.

There was a fan made comic, which is really good. I don't know the name of it. Where Amy was chasing Sonic and eventually the world situation gotten worse and Amy found her calling of being main commication for her friends. Then Sonic realized that everyone was doing their own thing, and there were several occasions that Sonic flirts with her. Amy gives Sonic his space, and she decides to focus more on herself.

@robertofabrizioiparraguirr6038 it was comic that someone made, and whoever made it literally made the maturity between Sonic and Amy pretty good.

Every single bit of this series is absolutely incredible. The writing, the voice acting, the animation. The way each character is written is fantastic. Knuckles has realistic anxieties for the situation, but is still his usual strong self. Amy's feelings of betrayal are heartwrenching to watch. Tails is REALLY starting to make me nervous again, I see the Secret History in him. He seems so casual about the Kaiju being the curse, but not about Sonic's "death."

Tails at one time was listening to what was going on with Sonic and Eggman, from his helicopter and hidden, and when Eggman transfered the curse to Sonic, the helicopter was perfectly landed for it conveniently to be destroyed. That means that Tails was not listening hidden, but he well could have been down there with both for most of the time.

I like how Amy had brains even when told to fall back, and proven how if the leader goes down, the entire squad will still keep fighting for him/her to the end.

It was good too hear Cream talk a bit, usually it's just 3 characters talking. Hopefully we hear Blaze talk soon.

I just think it's great what this "There is Something about" series has formed, precisely because it gets better and better from episode to episode! Above all, I like the characters and their speech very much! Therefore, thank you very much, dear mashed team! ❤️

Gotta say I love what Mashed does, bringing out ideas turning them into stories even occasionally expanding and making full blown series. Like this whole thing just started as Amy being obsessed but only to find out Tails is more obsessed linking a completely separate series they made and turning it into a different story with new concepts, execution, character developments, settings and everything. Not to mention the amazing animation and art style and twists

How can be each of this chapters better than every Sonic Prime's episode?

Bro the two "something about" series are no joke. I'm hooked

1:19 this entire scene has me waiting for the moment where this part of the "theres something about" series shows its true colours.

Damn, the dynamic alone between Amy and Tails here gave me flashbacks to the Season 1 episodes. Amazing storytelling!

There's something about a missle having the words "Knock Knock" on it that tickles me senseless XD

This series is so amazing! I love the story here, the voice acting is phenomenal from everybody, the character interactions are great, this rivals official material even outside Sonic for me, amazing work!

3:08 Every Sonic character ever when Tails invents something new

That ending shot where he basically went “Corrupted Super Sonic” is bloody terrifying Can’t wait to piss my pants being scared in the next part!!!

I was 101% with Tails saying "That thing ISN'T SONIC" but the whole talk its just so well made

I can hardly wait for the next (final??) part. This entire thing should have been a full motion picture.

Time to find out what friends are for.

I can't believe Sonic's been corrupt by the Emerald and has turned into a Kaiju creature.

This animation is cool,smooth and chaotic and I like how tails is mad it makes think there is more to tails character

Check out the comics, there's a pretty decent story arc if you want to see the cast go through something a little tougher (from like issue 14-32 of the IDW comics)

Is it just me or did the Kaiju's second form at the end start showing characteristics more related to Sonic? For example, the crystals turned blue, with the head ones now resembling his quills. Like could this be a good sign of Sonic getting better control over the monster, or a bad one in that the two are becoming more and more linked as time goes by?

Plot twist. Tails wanted power, and tried to take the emerald for himself so he tricked Sonic to give the serum to Eggman. Pretty much killing both in one hit. But it backfired and made Sonic into the monster he is now. He does not want Knuckles and the others to take the eyes out of the monster and save Sonic. because they probably have to destroy the Emeralds in the process of saving Sonic. Also Sonic will know the truth. But thats just a theory....A GAME THEROY!

If this story goes past Knuckles i have a feeling that Shadow and Silver, versions of them will be next. This has been great

Given all the signs so far and the foreshadowing, there's no way this doesn't end horribly for everyone else besides knuckles as a certain hedgehog and fox continue their quest to gather the worst version of every character to inevitably do horrible things to every Sonic in existence because lul.

That kaiju man... just when you think he's down for the count. He comes right back even more powerful then ever. And to think this is concluding soon. how will they finish this series off.

Honestly? I’m kind of scared. No knows what to expect from here on out; or what hell will break loose. Well, anymore hell than what we already got I mean.

Dang. Its safe to say we agree on how impressive this channel is right? You all have an awesome range, from Looney Tunes level goofiness to homage references to drama and almost Greek Tragedy (the sad irony of the Something about Amy series). Great job as always Mashed, writers, animators and voice actors all!

I want a "there's something about metal sonic" after there's something about knuckles, of course, like à story where eggman is the goodguy and sonic and his friends are the villains and eggman is actually trying to save the world but fail, super soinc Take over his last base, kills him and leave like nothing happened, but like 2 or 3 minutes before he dies (dramatic boi) he activate his ULTIMATE MASTERPIECE : metal soinc

We were all waiting FIR THIS EPISODE !!!! The most epic one.

I Think both amy and tails are their insane counterparts, the way amys arms are bandaged and she's always wearing a scarf just gives me the thought that its the insane amy, not their amy, and tails just seems way to "Its too late for sonic" to be their tails

This part is amazing the voice actors and the end is amazing

this is by far the best written Mashed animation series ever!

Never would've thought Eggman was Super Intelligent in this Sonic Animation.
