True words, FG has no business sharing palliative, it should be LG
They can switch state electoral body and collaborate with INEC for LG elections. Independent candidates should also be allowed to contest at local level.

Any state governor who fails to conduct elections or go contrary to laws against LNG should not receive local government findings and state allocation.
The only way to stop this quarrel, is to stop going to Abuja to share money. That's, true federalism. All states should feed on what they have. In fact, I don't know who started the FAAC thing.

What is the basis of creating a local govt? Since the LG alocation is to be shared to the 774 of them by Federal Govt, then it will be important that the States should have equal numbers of local govt to enable equal opportunities
