i swear shot registration has to be part of being good (not lucid tho, he's on another level). i leave in Mexico i just cant tell if i'm that bad, most of my games are 75-80ms with 65 plus accuracy and the last shot just don't rig, once in a while i had a 50ms match. @@albertmac2556

I watch these videos and they make me fall back in love with this game. Then I get inspired to play Ranked and it crushes me. I’m losing -6CSR when one of my teammates leaves! I thought they removed the 3v4 penalty?! Gaining +5 for some wins. Absolutely tilting.

@@BlackZiploc_ I’m less concerned about leveling out to my “true rank” and more concerned that we’re still losing ANY CSR when someone dc’s or quits. If I have to play through my 3v4’s and 2v4’s I shouldn’t be punished at all.

I don't think you lose CSR if you quit a game where someone on your team has already dc'd or quit@@box3y. I could be wrong, but far less frustrating to just leave any obj game 3v4.

@@SivertBerge If someone drops out of your team during a game, you will lose anywhere between -5 and -7, regardless of whether you play the game out or quit. It's annoying when you're on the other team, you know you're going to win, and players on the opposing team refuse to quit and waste everyone's time. Once the first player leaves or drops out, just leave the game, it won't change how much rank you lose.

People on this level don't play on Xbox man. He probably has a 4090 with a very good monitor. No offense. You can't get the high refresh rate with a Xbox. Not as high anyways. I wouldn't doubt that he is hovering around 200 fps.

@@y0dasmydad you can get 120 fps yes but when I used a series x it downscaled the resolution quite a bit and it didn't feel like it was a solid 120 to me. You also have to have a TV that supports 120 and has vrr. I switched to PC and a better monitor and it's a night and day difference. I had to spend a pretty penny though. I think when I was getting around 120 on my series x it downscaled my TV to 1080 and like I said I think it dipped quite often. I wouldn't doubt if lucid has a PC that's getting an extremely high fps. PC is expensive but you get what you pay for. There is a reason pros play on PC. Did I need an expensive PC? Absolutely not I'm horrible and old now but it helps. It's hard to explain. You just have to experience it and feel it to understand.

Not really. Playing with a controller is good but cmon. It’s not vastly superior to MnK. It’s crazy how MnK players constantly talk that it’s better and is how an FPS is “suppose” to be played while simultaneously contradicting that and complaining about how much better controllers are. This is a prime example of how much better a professional player is compared to even the top casual players. Has nothing to do with game input

Right. Love the game mode but is only playable with a squad. Solo queue in CTF is aids. And it seems like everyone just immediately forgets how to play the game.

I feel like there’s a point where winning is pointless because they are so determined to keep you in certain brackets but the losses still have their full effect. Kinda why I stopped playing R6 Siege. They’re would be a point where I should’ve been in Champion but the wins give absolutely no rewards but when I lose 5 games I drop 4 ranks. Like huh?

@@Artercay but then again, higher level players will tell us it’s a skill issue 😂 … which is another thing I hate about gaming is the culture where anyone who is gold or even platinum is “shit” at the game… gold is a precious metal but somehow when it’s translated to comp gaming its dog shit lol. I’m fed up with all of it - and I’m not even gold 😂 I’m plat 6 in arena and diamond 1 for doubles.

@@BillyTheKidOfficialYT Yeah it’s dumb. The culture of telling people they are dogshit doesn’t make any sense when it comes to ranked play. Especially if you play someone one time on one map and one mode. If you lose does that mean they are automatically better than you? What if the map is statistically your worst and their best. What if you ran it back on different map and different mode and you won, are you still dogshit? There’s a reason why the professional leagues keep track of certain stats for specific map/mode combinations. It can make or break a player. Truly good players are good at all combos. Those are the pros like Lucid. But to call someone bad even though they are the same rank as you which makes it kinda ironic and you only play them one time is dumb. Just toxic trash talk. Then again it’s the internet and everybody does. Even me to an extent.

I have been seeing play for quite a while now. But i think he might be using wall hack. A very hard evidence at 2:00 where moves and start firing at wall without seeing the enemy. I do believe he is a skilled player but cheating nonetheless.

You are totally mistaken here my friend. Lucid actually has a lot of reviewed videos of ACTUAL cheaters in this game. He’s assumption and game reading is second to none cause 9/10 times he can predict where the enemy is going to spawn, how the enemy team will push etc so many things.

You missed the part where his first burst is for the guy behind the window, tho it's a complete miss but pretty common pre fire if that guy did strafe over, then the second guy jumps into screen and lucid fires at them. Now lucid knows there are two people there and possibly more spawning on sniper.

I have been watching him for a couple years. He isn't a cheater and he despises cheating. His map awareness is just that good. He knows where everyone is at all times. He is a pro for a reason and arguably the best halo player. I don't like how arrogant he is but he is pretty damn impressive. I have watched him play other fps games as well the dude is just naturally talented. Very gifted. If he keeps up this level of play I don't doubt that he will be the 🐐. There has been a lot of great halo players but this guy is on a different level when he is hot. He basically just danced around this map. It's insane. These are also very good players that he is playing against. Anyone that is onyx is extremely good. When I played I was low diamond and I felt like I was decent. These guys are on a different level. I wouldn't even be able to move playing against these guys.

I can’t believe people actually enjoy this trash game, let alone being a pro and grinding it day in and out. Sounds like pure hell

I used to play a lot of halo infinite and I had a lot of fun. Thinking about going back to it. I only left because lack of content which looks like they resolved. The game isn't trash just didn't live up to its expectations. Much rather play this than COD.
