One of the single best promo segments I've ever seen. There is literally NO ONE greater talker/more charismatic than The Rock. Bar none. And as a whole, the presentation since turning heel at the press event has been arguably the best work of his already Mt. Rushmore caliber career. One wrestling's 🐐s

Its really unfair how much better Rock is at this than literally everyone in wrestling. Busting out Moana was like "stop theyre already dead"

If anyone wants to complain about The Rock doing what the Rock wants then they should first start making money like The Rock.

LA Knight is still as popular as he was on his come up. The crowds love him and want to see him win gold. His hard work and long rod to this point has been amazing.

The Rock overshadows everyone but is bringing tons of non-wrestling fan eyeballs on the product. If they tweak the product to suit those people's tastes, then boom, new audience growth. Also, Cody rebounded after losing to Roman. Seth rebounded after the Fiend stuff and losing to Cody who had half a chest. Roman's been truckin' along since his feud with the Usos. He'll be fine. I'm sure the WWE are confident that with such resourceful performers, tons of cash, a LOT of non-wrestling media attention thanks to the Rock, they'll never lose enough to be in trouble ever again and can do as they please. Everyone the Rock buried on his way to bringing positive non-wrestling media attention to the product at a time when the WWE is under scrutiny for decades of dodgy stuff will do their best and build themselves up again. And LA Knight? He's old. The WWE never saw him as more than a flash in the pan and are milking what they can out of him with little care for the long term. If fans notice he's just doing a watered down Rock/Austin mashup, they may have issues. And with both Rock being on TV all the time and rumors of the WWE wanting another Austin match or just more Austin, yeah, ol' LA might start sweating. But he had more chances than a lot of his NXT contemporaries, got a nice contract AND a big Saudi pay day and no one should be sad about that.

I WISH the rest of the WWE talent had the same amount of creative freedom that the Rock has. God forbid that any one of them make a promo on their social media WITHOUT approval…

They give complete freedom to those clowns in AEW to do & say whatever they want, are any of them ever come close to the same level of charisma that Rock shows? rarely ever. Rock is just a once in a lifetime talent, even the WWE guys can't match him if they are given complete creative freedom.

They already tried to start when Rollins was on some interview talking about Rock doing old washed up material essentially trying to bury his gimmick and catchphrases. Rock is doing what Rock has always done. I don't know how old you are but in 99 when Rock was a heel this was par for the course. People weren't bitching about him "going to business for himself". I had to personally hear from one of my best friends for THE longest time how far and above Reigns has evolved past even prime Rock. I can't tell you how satisfying this run has been for me personally cause Rock is reminding people that there are levels. If these are the next men up on the throne of pro wrestling, they gotta match him. Cause essentially y'all are complaining because the guys we thought were great (and I do think they're great) are getting bullied. That's less about Rock. It is his heel run since his return in 2020 SummerSlam that has led to a boom period in WWE financially, with him at the top of the card, they smashed a billion dollar revenue a year for the first time ever in their history in 2021. Not even during Cena's time at the top they managed a billion dollar revenue a year. Not only that they repeated that financial feat again in 2022 & 2023. Their revenue, gate(PPV income) records, attendance records have gone through the roof in the last 3 yrs with Roman as the top guy of the company. The knowledgeable people in the business like of Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff(the guy who ran WCW), Jim Cornette, Austin, Cena etc & many more legends all praised the heck out of Roman's work in the last 3 yrs & they know how pro-wrestling much more than you will ever do.
