It's true that they can and will overpower our human abilities but our human abilities are so much more incredibly powerful than most will say. Never doubt yourself and always empower yourself with your beliefs. The potential in us could be said to be literally infinite, in Treuth.

It seems like the response to those AI algorithms will be people like Theo, employing essentially the exact same algorithms, except that it will grab people's attention just long enough to help free their mind from the hold of the other algorithms.

It's been a few days, but if memory serves, they were talking about major corporations developing algorithms to attract viewer attention. It's hard to know for sure how those algorithms would work, so it's hard to try to dig into how one would mirror them. But, if they're like the current algorithms, it seems like the move would be to utilize software to create content specifically for people with a specific dopamine training. The content would significantly increase the chances that those people would change their behavior such that they would get a different type of dopamine fix and a decreased need for it. I'm not sure if the social media outlets would be for or against this type of thing. Ideally, they'd be for it.
