it's more of animatic a full animation is fluency with actual talking and movement that flows together. An animatic is a set of series of pictures that flow into each other but not so much for full body movement and no real mouth movement.

now I'm not the animator, but I like to think he means so-so meaning not fully animated since some parts are animatics since there's a huge difference between a full fledged animation then there is an animatic. soo it's not entirely animated. Only some parts are.

I love how the others just have normal lines for eyebrows but Jack gets full rectangles. Details, details, details.

Absolutely loved that Wade was ascending while Bob was collapsed on the ground with laughter. Meanwhile Jack is just like "Bro..."

this little segment is always funny lol! Sean, Bob and Wade just trying to enjoy some golf when Mark just explodes about an obvious game mechanic out of the blue. the raw frustration from Mark as Bob and Wade are laughing hysterically and Sean is just staring off at the camera w/ this disappointed look as he reevaluates all his life choices. Mark nearly had an existential crisis over the damn thing, i get he was frustrated because hes been struggling for quite awhile (i think they were about halfway through all the holes) but still, holy crap. anyway super cute animation, i love their little chibified looks
