Great vídeo! Fuseta is also the birthplace of one of the greatest portuguese rock bands, IRIS. They are still very active and their HQ is in Cinema Topázio, in the middle of Fuseta. ❤

Well done. Lived in Spain for a time after active duty. Much travel to the Algarve and perhaps one of my favorite places in Europe equal to the coast of Croatia. Unfortunately, we gringos can only stay 90 days. My 10 year visa (because I bought property in Spain) expired and could not renew it, otherwise, no doubt be back in Europe. Thanks Nick for the "memories" RH/Florida
Fuseta looks amazing dude! I think Nela hit it on the head, the vibe there came through on your video. I might have to load up the car and spend a couple days at the camp site and do a walk about myself. Lovely video, thanks Nick!

Stayed a few days in Fuseta before we settled on buying in Luz. Very traditional Portuguese place, and VERY different from towns west of Faro. Too traditional for us but had the best grilled chicken and salmon of our lives at A Do Rui restaurant on the front, where you ate.
Live there.... it's paradise. Pls don't make to much vids. about here, must be kept a secret 😅

Oops! Now, I know about it! Hehe! Very cute, and it’s accessible, if you don’t want to drive.
Good video as usual Nick. Visited Fuseta recently; worth mentioning main beach heavily eroded last winter and facilities washed away (May’24) so be aware when taking taxi/ferry. We encountered reliability problems/ delays with latter. For the independent traveller there’s a large camp site almost opposite the restaurants and very near the front. Regards from Somerset England 🏴
you earned my like.
Great video Nick. The aerial views are so helpful and you capture the vibe and feel of the city. Love the music too!

Thanks Nick, that was splendid indeed & another short but comprehensive guide as I knew nothing about Fuseta ☺ That wasn't you singing by any chance after the 7 minute mark?! Also have you any further forthcoming content from Madeira? Have an amazing week my friend 🤗

I like where it’s placed, but could someone find a place to live/rent all year? Or, is it just a seasonal rental area? Maybe, you did a video before?

@@AlgarveAddicts I have a few years. Each visit, I want to check out a new area, between Lisbon and Algarve. I’m not ready for rental tours yet, but I’ll let you know. 😄
Hi! How about regular market and public health system in Fuseta? Seems to be a good place for retired man like me. Do you think is it possible to rent a long term house by there?

Good Morning Nick . I need a bit of advice please . I am intending to stay a week in Silves area in early July but there is No A/C in the accommodation , would you consider this a sleep depriving issue ,or are Portuguese houses designed to be cool during the night ? I am coming from near Scotland in the UK. thank you very much

Hi Stephen, I'd be fine with a portable fan, but it does depend on your tolerance to heat. Coming from Scotland, I'd say you may need some a/c but that's a terrible generalisation (sorry!)

You're welcome Stephen, glad I could help.
Nice video - I live here. It's nice. 1. Please don't recommend Rome2Rio - it is full of mis/disinformation. There are NOT nine daily buses to Fuseta. I have seen so many people misled worldwide by that crap website. 2. Liked the walkabout video, pretty authentic. However, drones just SUCK A$$.

Hello "Glomph". Thanks for your comment. How many buses are there? It would be helpful to share constructive info, not just negative stuff. I've had a look on www.algarvebus.info which isn't the prettiest website but filled with apparently accurate info. They reckon 4 buses per day (every day) with another 4 on Mondays to Fridays, which is 8. Pretty close to 9 I'd say... If you have other info, I'd love to hear it.
