I think it means that it isn't what the Krabby patty is made with but how its made, think about it SpongeBob loves making the patties and loves almost everything while plankton is hateful and that's why he fails in making it all of the time. But that is just my idea. And there is one evidence for it, in the sponge on the run movie the song "secret formula"shows a bottle similar to the secret formulas bottle and the paper in it unrolls showing a picture of SpongeBob and he literally kisses and compliments the patties in episodes

It’s just like SpongeBob always says. The secret ingredient is love. His love for cooking and the love from the customers.

I'm pretty sure that's not it. Before Mr.Krabs ate the krabby patty, a boy was eating it, and the mother said something along the lines, "Don't eat that! It's as old as that old man over there *points at Mr.Krabs*". That's why when he eats says, "So that's what I taste like." it's not because he's committing cannibalism. It's more so "Oh so that's how I taste like at my age." And even then, he says, "I taste like," not that's "How we taste like"
