It got funded by the CNC (we see that at the beginning) instead. It's a government fund, usually for movies or TV programs, though I'm glad they are open to other art forms.

I’m not sure if it’s intentional or not, but the irony of the title being ‘There Is No Game (Full Game)’ is hilarious to me.

The original comment is correct, it’s an art term. It originally referred to the space created between two mirrors-an infinite abyss of reflections-and was then picked up by the art world to describe the “painting within a painting within a painting” phenomenon. It’s a lot like an idiom-the literal translation is not the correct meaning at all-for example, when we “break the ice” with someone, we don’t *literally* break any ice. If a non-english speaker said “breaking the ice” means to become friendly with someone and you said “no, it means to break ice into pieces-that’s the literal translation!!!” you’d be wrong. That’s basically what you just did, @mystykgaming -You’re absolutely wrong.

@@theskilledsnake Usually they are, but when a performance starts the first chair violinist, also known as the soloist plays a tuning note to tune to his violin. Its much better for the whole orchestra to be in tune with an instrument in the orchestra rather in tune with a predetermined note in a tuner. I was in concert band last year and I have to play the tuning note.

1:38 that sound is actually how an orchestra checks its intonation, making sure everyone's instruments are in tune with each other the concert master plays a note on an open string then the rest of the orchestra follows with the same note after the concert master completes one full bow so Sean is somewhat correct this is part of how we prepare and check if we are ready

@@Bbclark18 well .. Many concerts masters won't bother to tune their instrument perfectly, because the sound gets lost between those 10 other violins. I can assure you when I play in an orchestra, never have I tuned perfectly. Nothing to do with me being a violist!!😂🤪

All these years later I still want to see “There Is A Game” and it’s an actual RPG but narrated by Game and GiGi as they fight off new glitches that are trying to rip them apart again.

As someone who played the original game, I apriciate the "draw me a goat" reference (I atleast hope its in reference) to when you write out goat and get the goat you need to save, and the Flying squirrel OS in reference to when the Squirrel of the game steals your key and you have to get it back😁 I love the references It brings baxk the memories of going on cool maths games just to play this😢

The part where GiGi sings the code is my absolute all time favorite part of this game. It’s such a clever puzzle and it really fits with its place in the story plus the singing is amazing and the song absolutely SLAPS it was stuck in my head for 3 days when i first heard it and I was so eager to see it again when I saw you uploaded this video. So creative and beautiful, I love it!

The whole "Holmes and Watson" part is a reference to the old lucas arts games, especially "day of the tentacle", in art style, and the "use a monkey to work an hydraulic pump" comes straight from Monkey Island 2. Absolutely love it 💙

Jack's frustration is almost tangible. It's super frustrating to watch him get stuck, but absolutely hilarious when he figures it out and it's the most ridiculous logic being used to progress.

Man, a 3:32:40 long video of just nothing? What a good use of my time at 4 am.

2:10:16 the Sadoku one's actually easy to figure, as unbelievable as it is. Just need to think outside the box for this.

As an orchestra performer, hearing Jack mention the ps3 start sound reminded me of when I had to explain it to people lol. It's not really to tell you that we're ready, it's for us to check to see if our instruments are in tune :)

@@tonberry1248 hate to slap myself into a coversation but i played clarinet when i was in an orchestra and the drums is something both fun and incredibly difficult considering the role you have in the orchestra. That could just have been my experience tbf i wasn't in my orchestra too long and i was pretty young but just my view

Oh I've seen this dimension-hopping concept before. It was in a Phineas and Ferb movie. Supposedly, there is a whole circle of dimensions, and there's some kind of dimensional flow connecting them going clockwise. Meaning if you travel from one dimension to another, you automatically end up in the one after that if you dimension-hop again. There is a way to go against that flow, but it would a massive amount of energy, and I doubt a system with that little memory can handle such a powerful energy flux. In other words, Game and User are going to have to go through a literal gauntlet of games to get home.

The closest i think to a game where you are "in a box and have to interact with the environment by changing the perspective of the game" is Super Paper Mario which was a really great game in all rights.

The phrase “mise en abyme” is French for “placed into abyss.” The best example to describe what it means is when you stand between two mirrors, one in front and the other behind (like what we see in hundreds of movies), as it gives the illusion of infinite space.

That sound actually means the orchestra is tuning up, but it is polite to be quiet so the conductor can properly tune the orchestra
