I remember going through opiate withdrawals.A church was across the street where i lived for years,but i had no interest in ever going to it.After 4 days with restless legs,sweating,and vomiting,I went in there one morning.Some older lady sang this and looked at me the whole time with a warm smile.I started crying and suddenly the withdrawals went away.I started shaking and felt helpless yet relieved.My whole body trembled in there that day.I dont know what happened,but I never took a narcotic since that day.I didn't even have a craving anymore.I didn't go back to the church after that.But one thing was proven to me,and that's God is real.

My husband just broke my heart. He doesn’t like hearing me sing around the house. I have an acceptable singing voice and God placed a song in my heart and on my lips. I always thought that somehow God was blessing him with the gift God gave me. He claims not.

Please keep singing and don’t let anyone stop you. I’m not sure if your husband’s a Christian but keep praying for him. God has blessed you with an acceptable singing voice and He loves when we worship Him. Don’t let anyone tell you any different. amen on that !!!! i go to a great church 15 miles from my house because the power of God is there, the church here in chandler assembly of God only sings contemporary songs and they wonder why they cant keep enough people to have a an evening service...... form of Godliness but denying the power there of i prefer the hymns about the Blood and the Holy Spirit,,,, i would not be denied

He dwells in the Holy temple (your body) and said not to defile the temple. He said to defile the temple is death. He's always serious about everything He said to do. He's just as serious about what He said not to do. We live in obedience to His law, every word if it! He dwells within us all to be with and lead us in His ways. 💕🙏🔥 🕊️ Deuteronomy 28 there are blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience. The whole chapter, and verse 46 is one example of generational curses. These go into the following generations, the 3 and 4th. Our children pay the price for our sin. Stop sinning you are sending consequences to yourself and to your loved ones, children. By God's law you are. If you don't believe me ask Him, in Jesus name may you see and know the truth in it's fullness. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Jesus is worthy of everything He said and paid for, so I implore you to do as God said. Jesus said If you love me you will obey my commands. When I was first introduced to the Bible I was a young Christian, not even 1 year old in Christ. Today, I've been a Christian nearly 50 years. So many memories I need to take to the cross, so many.

My aunt Donna went to that school. Multnomah. I was blessed before my Dad's family all passed on , to stay with her and my Aunt Letha one winter. She had some books from there and I read them. My relationship with Jesus was strengthened.

This past August I lost my lifelong friend, he died suddenly from a stroke at 58 years old. We both met when we were 5 and have been friends ever since. Although our lives went in different directions we stayed friends throughout. Later in life he found the Lord and became a Pastor working with drug addicts and other troubled people. His transformation was amazing. His death has left a huge hole in my heart knowing my friend is gone. I carry his mass card with me on my wallet so I know he's close to me. Till we meet again Joe.

Redeeming love has been my theme and shall be till I die!!

I can relate to the Author of this song....We both struggled with believing that God would actually love us. The Holy Spirit revealed the truth of this song to him of the Blood of Jesus that wash's away every stain of sin and hopelessness.....Praise God for that fountain filled with Jesus' blood...His blood on the alter / Mercy seat of heaven that speaks MERCY to all. Hebrews 12:22-24

Something that I wrote a while back that was inspired by some life events and this song. I Find Myself Running Back to You Again When things go tumbling down the hill Life stops at a dead end And faith becomes frozen when exposed to this chill Leaving me trying to comprehend, In how a God who's gracious to all Can still even love me Even though I often refuse His call And I start to flee, Down the road that's far and wide I run from grace alone But yet you still have a way to find In me, what was once a beautiful stone. Though I keep running, running from you Thinking I lost you far behind Somewhere down this road I run into, A dead end I did not expect to find. I guess my way is not so fun I'm trying to dig myself out of this dark den But no matter how far I run I find myself running back to you again. The fountain filled with Emmanuel's blood, that's the fountain I keep running to. That's where my heart pulls me to. This is why I listen to hymns, that's because they bring me to that quiet and tranquil time to be on my knees before God.
